Review of the K-Source Snap and Zap Custom Towing Mirrors

What's up, everybody out here with etrailer, today will be taking a look at the K-Source Snap and Zap custom fit towing mirrors. As you can see, we have a nice custom fit and I am gonna bring some other custom fit towing mirrors out. But just to give you an idea of where this one lies, this one's my favorite. I like it the best. It has the best look and it does have a mirror, just like all the other ones that can tilt up and down, left and right. And then the mirror is going to be about four and a quarter inches tall, and about three and three eighths inches wide.

So it's a decent size mirror. And it's only really gonna add about four inches to the length of your mirror, and this is kind of why I like it so much. And it's my favorite just because it doesn't have any design or anything like that. It really has a nice OEM look. It's not gonna fade or crack over time.

And it literally looks exactly like the OEM look right here. So that's something I really like. And then as you can see the lines too, line up with where they start the pivot. So even when we go in like this, it's not going to hit our trim and it's not going to hit our window or anything like that. I just like how it looks really, really factory.

And it is probably the easiest thing to install. There's no other pieces or anything. You just literally snap and zap them. So if you're buying it some towing mirrors, just because you can't really see what's behind you all the way, or if you just want a little bit better look, it's gonna be really useful for that. But it's not just about you.

We want to make sure everybody else on the road is nice and safe. So it's going to give you peace of mind. You're not going to be white knuckling and constantly turn it around to see what's going on back there. You'll have everything in your mirrors, so you can see it. And then everybody else on the road, it's going to be more safe too, just because you can see everything that's behind your truck. So they do come in a pair of two. So all you gotta do is grab one, and you'll get both the passenger and driver's side. And another thing I like about these, is it comes in a nice little bag and they're not gonna scratch each other either. 'Cause there is a divider and they fit in here really, really nicely. There's no other pieces that go in there. So whenever you're done using them, if you don't like the look which, I really do like the look. I think it looks really cool. but you can just throw them in here, throw them underneath your backseat and you're ready to go. So now what we're doing is we're gonna grab a couple more mirrors just to show you kind of where this one sits. And again, these are my favorite. So we're gonna go from my least favorite to my favorite. So I did want to throw in a universal towing mirror so you can see how big of an eyesore it is. It's not the most stable option. I just don't like the look. And that's kind of the reason why I pick the custom fit over these just because it just looks better. It does come with a bigger mirror than some of the custom fit ones. And you do have the option to kind of turn it like this or upright. So that is one thing that is kind of cool with the universal ones, but I'm just not a fan. So let's move on to my second least favorite. And that is gonna be these right here, just because they have a bird on the front, not a fan of that, but if you are, you can go for it, but it slides on. It looks good. I'm just not a fan of the bird on the front. You have a big mirror and it's going to pivot just like all the other custom fit towing mirrors. But another thing I don't like about the front face is not only just the design, but we are going to have a little knob right here whenever we install it. So it's not the cleanest look. And for my second favorite, it's gonna be the SEPA. And the reason why I kinda like this one is it doesn't really have any design on the front, it matches the OEM look. It just has a knob here, not a huge fan of the knob, but it's not that big of a knob. So you can't really tell that much, but basically I like the front other way I liked the way it looks. It looks pretty similar to factory, but just the knob kind of makes it look like that. And we do have another mirror. Of course, it's gonna pivot around. And honestly, we really don't need this big of a mirror to get the view that I'm looking for. I've used all of these, but this is plenty big to get whatever you need. And the winner of all of them is gonna be the snapping zaps. Why Well, there's no knobs on the outside. With this, all we have to do, if you kind of just go like this, get it lined up. And then you just snap it down, snaps into place. We have a smaller mirror compared to some of the other ones, but again, you really don't need a massive mirror to get that view. It's basically just how far out from your factory mirror that really gives you that view. But look at that, that looks OEM to me. You can hardly even tell where the crease comes over here, cause this bottom line lines up with that. And I just really liked this one. This is my favorite by far, Snap and Zap. There's no knobs or anything like that. And you just snap it and zap it on and you're good to go. So this is my favorite. So these definitely look the best or definitely, my favorite. But they are the quickest to install. Literally, takes hardly any time and there's no other pieces they get to mess with. This is all you need and your hands will do the work for you. So you can see how quick the process is right now, if you stick around. First thing we want to do is figure out if we have the right one. So we're gonna have a hole down at the bottom. That's just gonna be for the light. And of course, this seems like it's the right one. So what we've got to do is kind of start from the top. We're going to get it in that little groove right around there. And then literally just kind of rotate it around, like this. And then push it, until it just snaps into place. And that's literally it, it's nice and solid. And then you can do the same exact thing on the passenger side. Well, that's basically it for our look at the K-Source Snap and Zap custom fit towing mirrors..
