Video Transcript for Review of Trimax Locks Hitch Anti-Rattle - Standard Anti-Rattle - TMX46SR

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Trimax Universal Anti-Rattle Clamp, made for Class 3 and 4 trailer hitches. So, folks, with this, you're gonna be able to get rid of the annoying rattles and vibrations that we've all dealt with every time you tow if you just have a basic ball mount or accessory or something, and nothing to keep all that noise out. So, this is a universal fit, meaning it's gonna work with all two-inch ball mounts, and basically it's a no-brainer as far as a setup. I will note from the start that you must have a ring or collar around your hitch itself, that way this will attach and stay secured and everything. So, it will go around it like this.

This would be the backside here, that way that I could grab that lip, and then you would just simply tighten these wing nuts until you've got as tight as you possibly can by hand, and that's gonna eliminate all the play and all the rattle out of that hitch setup. So, this will keep it firmly in place. That way you can tow with confidence and not have to worry about that rattle or anything. So, as you can see, it's made of high-quality steel. It has a nice powder coat hammer-tone finish on the apparatus itself, and then you got your U-ball with the welded channel up top so everything can match up tightly once you tighten everything down once you have it in place.

So, again, just make sure that your hitch has that lip or collar and you should be good to go. And that's gonna wrap it up, folks. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

Wonderful

by:

The picture shows nuts on threads the one I got has wing nuts on it not good.

by:

This is exactly what I wanted for my hitch! GREAT!

by:

Works as advertised! Stops the horrible clunking when stopping and starting that you get without it. Easy to install with a socket wrench and comes right off when needed with the same socket wrench. You actually only need to loosen to remove from receiver and you can leave it on the hitch during storage.

by:

wing nuts suck go back to 3/4 nuts

by:

Clamp is just what I needed and is very heavy duty and looks to be very durable. 4 because the delivery took longer than promised. I would recommend and would use Etrailer again.

by:

Product did exactly what it was supposed to do. Costumer service and shipping speed was top notch.

by:

You really cannot go wrong with anything that Trimax makes. This anti-rattle clamp is one of the best I've ever used. Superior quality and it clamps down to the hitch and receiver so well that it completely eliminates all movement at the connection point. What's more, it did not loosen at all while I was hauling a loaded trailer.

by:

This attaches easily and takes all the noise and clatter out if the receiver hitch

by:

It mostly holds the hitch still. I still get a slight amount of up and down movement. I also find I need to tighten it again after driving a bit, though I doubt that is the fault of the clamp. I think I'll add some nuts to lock down the wingnuts just in case they vibrated loose.

by:

It took out about 80 to 90 % of the rattle, very easy to install, however you need to remember to put the hitch through the clamp before you put it into the receiver or you have to take and put back on the wing nuts.

by:

This anti-rattle device works fine, but not using the wing nuts. I couldn’t get it tight enough without using pliers. When I get home from this trip I will get regular stainless nuts and all should be fine. I will have to remember to bring a socket and ratchet handle, but that’s no so bad.

by:

This anti rattle clam has worked perfectly, highly recommend.

by:

The product did exactly what is was said to do . The product was solid really tightened the hitch highly recommended it

by:

Very solidly built, and easy to install. Since installing, my hitch is totally rattle free.

by:

Definitely stopped the rattle

by:

I received an email earlier today that indicated that the item had not yet been sent. I was disappointed as I was hoping to get it before the weekend. To my surprise it was delivered as I was expressing my concern. Sorry for my impatience.
Thanks for your amazing service.

by:
