Note: These snap-on towing mirrors will not fit OEM extendable mirrors.

Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the secure, snap-on fit means there's no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. Attach them by simply popping them over the backs of your existing mirrors. The built-in clips on the towing mirrors will grab the inside edges of your factory mirrors for a secure fit. These mirrors are customized for your vehicle, helping to prevent vibration or excessive wind noise. You'll be ready to travel in seconds, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress-free.


These towing mirrors are custom designed to match the contours of your factory mirrors, and they let you retain use of the features on your factory mirrors.     Since your 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 doesn't seem to have the same bolt pattern as the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors # KS62147-48G, I recommend going with some towing mirrors instead of total replacements. The K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80910 fit directly onto your OEM mirrors and give you that extra extension you need for better vision while towing.     It's somewhat difficult to see in the product pictures, but the K-Source towing mirrors part # KS80910 that you referenced has pads that line the mirrors so that the portion of it that touches your truck mirror won't get sctratched. What I'd recommend you do is ensure you keep the mirrors of your truck and the tow mirrors clean and you won't have any scratching.

If you want to retain the power folding feature of your mirrors then I recommend the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80910 which fit over your OEM mirrors so you still have those functions.
