Custom-Fit Towing Mirror
Easily extend your field of vision and reduce blind spots with this CIPA slip-on towing mirror. By adding it to your OEM side-view mirror, you can see beyond the end of your trailer. This will allow you to safely and easily change lanes, pass, and park with a trailer in tow.
The mirror is molded to perfectly match the contours of your factory side mirror. Simply slide the mirror over your side-view mirror and use the custom-formed, felt-covered wedge to hold the mirror in place. This wedge wraps around the inside edge of your OEM mirror and can be tightened onto the mirror with an easily accessible hand knob.
Slip-on mirror will fit factory mirrors that look like the mirror in the image above.

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be doing a test fit of the Cipa custom auto towing mirrors. Part number is CM10950. Now this is going to be for both the driver and the passenger side. It's available as just the driver side - part number on that is CM10951 - and as just the passenger side as part number CM10952. As you can see, our custom towing mirrors made out of an ABS plastic. They're going to be durable and long lasting. They're custom designed for your vehicle.
Going to slide right on and maintain the factory aerodynamics to help reduce any kind of wind noise or vibration that we might experience. The mirror face itself is fully adjustable. It's going to allow us to customize our view and make life easier when passing, changing lanes, or trying to park while we're hauling a trailer. Now the first step in getting our mirrors attached to our vehicle is going to be to place our felt pads on. We'll just pull the tag off. We're going to place it right here on this high edge.
You see it's low, it rises up, and there's a nice flat edge there. That's going to be the edge that's actually going to rest against our mirror. We'll put our pad in place there to keep it from doing any kind of damage. Secondly we're going to have our wedge. Our wedge is also felt-covered. This is what helps really lock the mirrors in place and give us a nice steady ride.
We'll place that right here on the top. We'll have to come in and conform and it comes right around the edge right there as you can see. Now let's head over to our passenger side and we'll show you how to get the mirror installed. Now to install our mirror we'll have our factory mirror of course in place. We'll take the top edge and we want to get it started right on the front of our mirror face as we slide this in on the rear side. We're also going to slide in our wedge.
You'll do that so we can orient the small divot that's on the back with our hole. We'll continue to slide it on. Now we will want to take a look and be sure that the bottom edge meets up with our mirror as well, and then slide that all the way into place. As you can see, that's going to give us full adjustability of our factory mirror. We haven't lost any view; we haven't lost any of our original mirror. We've just got the addition of our towing mirror there on the side. Here on the backside we're going to take our set screw, place it in, and then it's just a matter of tightening that down. That set screw is going to go right into that felt-covered wedge and it will hold everything in place for us. Now this still gives us the fold-in adjustability so if we need to get into our garage or whatever the case may be we won't have to worry about taking our mirrors on and off. That's going to complete today's look at the Cipa custom towing mirrors, part number CM10950, on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. .

After a little snafu with shipping I received the mirrors and am very happy with them. They fit my Toyota Tundra perfectly and actually look good. Unlike the strap on kind of mirror extensions. They don't vibrate while driving so give a clear view.

Our CIPA Custom towing mirrors arrived very quickly, well packaged with appearance as described, excellent quality. We tried them on our 2020 GMC Sierra Denali and they fit great and will be an extra set of eyes when we are towing our 2021 Riverside Retro trailer to see her better when traveling , backing up etc. We are so happy and will be back for more at etrailer, thank you!
We use these mirrors all of the time when we tow. They fit our Ford F150 truck mirrors like a glove. Unfortunately they can loosen up when traveling so you will need to check the screw on each mirror before traveling to your next destination. We have lost 2 of these in the 6 years we have had our camper for that very reason.
First, etrailer is a great supplier. Fast, efficient and stands behind products they sell. The mirrors are well made, easy to install and functional. I had an issue with the passenger side mirror would not adjust its angle. I thought I would break the mirror with the pressure I had to use to move it. The mirror would only go to full travel, so I was either looking at the neighbors lawn one way or the other way it was looking in the passenger windows. Called etrailer support, no problem, new one on the way. Problem solved.
I have purchased from etrailer.com before and was happy with their service. I was across country moving my son back to Idaho from Illinois and needed mirrors for towing a large utility trailer. Ordered from etrailer and unbeknownst to me, they were just down the road in Missouri. Had them the next day and am pleased with product. I’ll be using them again.
We ordered these based off previous reviews. Glad we did! They fit perfectly on our 2016 Dodge Ram truck. They just slide on!!! The price is so reasonable!!
2010 F150 Lining up the Thumb screw hole took a little work.. I did manage to get it all lined up With a little work and observation. I lined up the anti-slip plate with the thumb screw hole before I installed it, and marked The adjacent location with a sharpie. After realigning the thumb screw turned down all the way with little effect. Extension mirror looks sharp!! And is solid against the existing mirror.
So glad I found these mirror extenders! Super easy to install and worked beautifully. We just did a 2000 mile trip pulling my trailer with no issues. The mirrors allow me to make safe lane changes.

Bought 2 mirrors. Nice mirrors and they do what they’re supposed to do…but what do you do with the locking piece when not in use? I know I’m gonna lose one or both.
You need to pay attention that it is attached correctly but, I kept them on my truck all summer because we pulled our RV a lot. I’m very satisfied...

I spent many hours online looking for trailer mirrors when I came across the CIPA mirrors for my 2015 Silverado C1500. We tow a Jayco 26BHSW and absolutely love these mirrors. Our first trip with them was a 1500 mile trek from Louisville to Hilton Head and they performed without a hitch.

Great product for the price. I ordered the pair for my 2016 Silverado. package arrived in good shape, no problems. Easy to install and fit as designed, nice appearance. Only glitch was the passenger side mirror had a minor defect in the reflective surface. Notified etrailer and was promptly taken care of - received a replacement mirror in short order with free return. Very impressed. The passenger mirror view is a little small for me but otherwise acceptable. I previously ordered / received a Curt trailer hitch with same satisfaction. Would definitely recommend this company.
