Question:
I have a 99 surbuban Chevy and a 93 Chevy 1500 will the trailer hitch switch between the two

Expert Reply:
You would not be able to move a trailer hitch back and forth between the 1999 Suburban and 1993 Chevy 1500 because the hitches are different between these vehicles and are not interchangeable.
Also, you would have to get new hardware every time. The hardware is meant to only be torqued down once and not reused.
For the 1999 Chevy Suburban the most popular hitch is # C14029. For the truck the most popular option (for models with standard or step bumper) is # C14081.
The recommended ball mount for both is # C45341. For a 2 inch ball use # A-90. For a 2-5/16 inch ball use # 63840.
For trailer wiring for the truck you can use # 118315. For the Suburban use # C55319.

Suggested hidden hitch receiver needed. I have a 1967 Chevy c10 & swb frame, using a 1991 Chevy 1500 sport side bed w/rear roll pan mounted on it.
