can i use euro ball mount with Curt 13052-59146 Trailer Hitch

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C13052 is a verified as a good fit for your 2008 Land Rover.
This is a Class lll hitch and it has a 2 inch receiver opening.
The Euro ball mounts we offer are not designed for a 2 inch receiver. They fit 1-1/4 inch receiver openings.
You might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If you do not have trailer wiring I recommend the 4 Pole Harness and Hardwire Kit, part # C59496. This includes all of the hardware needed for installation, and even includes a circuit tester to help make the job easier.
You will need to use the circuit tester to locate the brake light circuit behind the vehicle tail light. This circuit will be connected to the wire coming from the converter box in the wiring kit.
Then, locate the left turn signal wire and connect the yellow wire to that wire. The green wire is then run to the passenger side and connected to the right turn signal circuit. The brown wire is connected to the tail light circuit and the white wire is connected to a clean bare metal surface on the vehicle. The power wire is run to the vehicle battery using the included inline fuse holder.
