Switch to Reverse Polarity On Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan

Is it possible to add some type of switch that would allow the unit to be used in either direction exhaust or inlet?

You certainly can wire the fan of Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan part # VP-543SP in reverse polarity. I confirmed this with my technical contact at Ventline. Please note however, with this fan the air-moving capacity will be reduced to some degree. You will want a DPDT Center Off Toggle switch to accomplish this.
Ventline does not offer such a switch, but you will be able to pick one up at a hardware store.
