Question:
Ive hooked up all the connections as described in the instructions and online video. My tail lights, brake lights and turn signals all work on the CR-V but when I use a test light on the harness, nothing. I dont have a trailer yet to actually hook up to see if its working, but if not. How do I troubleshoot? This is for a 2013 Honda CR-V

It sounds like you may have forgotten to install one of the two included fuses of the Curt Harness part # C56158. The larger fuse that goes in the red fuse holder powers the entire converter so without it the lights wouldn't function. You can test the box to make sure it is not the problem.
What you will want to do is test the wires going into the box of the converter box for voltage with a circuit tester like the # PTW2993 to see if there is voltage going into the box when the taillight functions of your vehicle are applied, and then test the output side of the box to see if the current is making it through the converter. If not then the problem is that the converter box has shorted itself out and would need to be replaced.
If there isn't input voltage for the converter then the problem is the wiring of the wiring kit. You will need to check to make sure it's making a solid connection to the correct circuits.
