No Power to 4-Way on a 2013 Honda CR-V with Curt Wiring Harness
Updated 01/21/2019 | Published 01/19/2019 >
Question:
I install the wiring harness 56158 on my CRV but there is no power to the four way. I’ve installed both fuses in the correct place. Is there anything else y’all could recommend?

The first thing you are going to want to do is take a circuit tester and test the red wire just before it enters the converter box. If you do not have power here then test this wire again just before the fuse holder. If still no power then there is most likely an issue in the vehicle's tow package wiring and you will need to take it into the dealer to have it troubleshooted.
If you have power just before the fuse holder then replace the fuse. If you have power just before the converter box then remove the ground, pick a new spot on the body, sand down the surface thoroughly, and then reground. If this still does not fix your issues then you may have a bad converter box and the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C56158 will need to be replaced.
