Recommended Wiring Harness for a 2015 Honda Pilot EX 4WD without Tow Package
Question:
Hello, I have a 2015 Honda Pilot EX 4wd. I want to install a wire harness, as the Pilot comes with a class III hitch, but no wiring. Would either C56170 or 118558 work? If so are they the same package, just different manufacturers? Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
Based on your 2015 Honda Pilot EX 4WD having an included Class-III trailer hitch, I tend to think you have existing wiring behind the trim panel in the cargo area on the driver side and under the vehicle on the driver side.
The T-One wiring harness # 118558 and Curt wiring harness # C56170 you referenced will work with your Pilot whether you have the tow package or not.
With that said, I would go with the Curt wiring harness # C56170 because it's more economically priced. The OEM port is located behind the driver's side interior trim panel.
I included a couple video reviews for you as well.
