Question:
I recently purchased a ball mount from you all, but I need one with more room outboard of the hitch on my truck to mount a hitch mount mudflap. Can you tell me if the length from the pin hole to the angled cut is longer than the eTrailer ball mount I purchased? I need at least one inch of free space to mount and this mount only gives me about 1/2. this is what I purchased in August etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2inch Ball - 2inch Hitch - 2inch - 10,000 lbs Part Number: e99DR

Hey Ryan, thanks for reaching out. I went out to our warehouse to measure and compare both ball mounts you mentioned. First I found the etrailer Ball Mount # e99DR you already ordered, and I measured 2-3/4" from the center of the pin hole to right where the angled portion starts.
Next I measured the ball mount that comes with the # EBMK2216 kit and I measured 3-3/4" from the center of the pin hole to the angled portion. So if you were to switch to this ball mount it will give you an additional 1" of space for your mud flaps, which sounds like it will work for you. You can get this ball mount with the # EBMK2216 kit, or if you want the ball mount by itself do part # 40330.
Feel free to reach out and comment below if you need anything else.

Hey Ryan, did the Draw-Tite ball mount give you the extra inch of space you needed for your mud flaps? It sounds like that longer measurement should have done the trick. Your update could make it easier for others trying to fit similar setups.
