Question:
Hello, Im looking to buy a trailer wiring harness part number C56170 or 118558 for my 2013 Honda Pilot. On part number C56170 it states with factory tow package. What exactly does that mean? When I remove the rear trailer hitch cover I can see that I have the hitch but no wiring. Does this mean that I have factory tow package?

If your 2013 Honda Pilot has the factory tow package you will find a connection point for the 4-way harness, like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56170, which you referenced, located behind the interior access panel in your rear cargo area.
To install the harness will need to make two connections: The tow harness with 4-way connector plugs into the connection point behind rear bumper, driver's side (see S5). The converter connects in rear cargo area, driver's side (S3). No cutting, splicing, or tapping is required.
If you have your VIN number you could also contact your Honda dealer and they will be able to tell you.
I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to check out as well.
