I love this hitch. It installed super easy using the video provided by etrailer. Bent the tabs as they recommend and didn’t need to remove the bumper. For the past year I’ve been hauling around bikes on my tow hitch bike rack and gear in my tow hitch mounted cargo box on the back of my sienna. I can carry so much stuff. I just returned from a month long trip to Maine with my cargo box and it was amazing, I was able to bring everything I needed. I love the way the hitch looks I and love how versatile it makes my sienna.1632324

I’d give it 5 stars, but one of the bolts that came in the package wouldn’t thread into the frame. I tried all 6 spots and it was definitely the bolt. All the other bolts worked in each spot. I had to run to the hardware store to buy a new bolt. Thankfully they had the specs listed in the directions. Everything else was great, just bummed about the one messed up bolt. The bolt from the hardware store went in just fine, it was 5mm longer but that didn’t appear to matter.
There is a picture of the bolt, it looks fine but it simply wouldn’t thread. It wouldn’t thread into the little thing at the hardware store either they have next to the bolts to make sure you have the correct size.1562971

Installed in a matter of a couple of hours by myself. I used a QuickJack to raise the car up. Otherwise, I would have had a time getting under there. Also used a floor jack with some 4x4s to raise the hitch in place, and then secured with a tie down before getting the 1st couple of bolts in. The image for the cutting of the undertray is not very accurat; you'll need to cut more than shown. Hauled my dirt bike with a HF carrier and had no issues. Definitely recommend this hitch and believe it was worth the extra work to install the hidden version.1102864

No complaints. Still glad I went with the hidden version, both for aesthetics and ground clearance issues. Will probably get another for one of my other vehicles at some point.

I was looking for a hitch so that we can haul more luggage on family vacations. After some research I chose this hitch because of how hidden it is under the vehicle. Installation was great. I watched the video and then was off to the races. I was able to get it on without undoing the exhaust from the hanger. The service from etrailer was great. This hitch was bought & installed on our 2020 Toyota sienna XLE AWD.
It was shipped and received at my house very fast, impressive. It came well packed with no damage.

My install was a little different than the paper instructions. My under body panel looks different than the instructions but I just held it up and cut out what needed to be removed & it looks great!

If you have one of these vans it’s well worth the money and time to install one, it sits 1 3/4” in from the bumper face. It’s very nice hitch!1131177

A year later and its great! Absolutely seamless, I forget it’s there. Walking past, getting groceries or the stroller, I don’t even think about it until I need to tow. I have zero regrets in buying it.

This worked out great! I absolutely love that they provide a video of how to install it and shows what you need, need to do, and what you'll run into. You'll need to at least pull your car onto a ramp to lift it off the ground so you can get under enough to work on it. The under panel was easy to take off and the hitch receiver was easy to line up and bolt on. It was a little tricky to cut out a notch in the under panel so it lined up just right to look clean and tight. Which was easy to cut with some tin snips. The final look is really clean and you can hardly tell it's even there, but it works great!1459001

The Package said a pro can install this in an hour, I am no pro but this only took me about 45 minutes to install from start to finish. Great fit and very sturdy build quality! It said to lower the exhaust to get the part in. I was able to slide it in without lowering the exhaust and complete the install by myself, well I had the assistance of my 3 year old.

2018 Toyota Sienna

Nicely made and it bolted right up to my 2018 Toyota Sienna.
The video installation instructions were easy to follow.
I like that most of it is hidden out of view.

I love this hitch. I love the fact that it is all hidden under the fascia and only a receiver piece is visible. I look at other Siennas and see other hutches just hanging out and I quietly chuckle. The only thing I did not do during the install was to put the thread locker. I have towed my jetski for several months and nothing is loose. If I get more free time, I might take out the bolts one at a time and might add a thread locker and use my newly acquired electric impact gun. I used a 1/2 " ratchet from Harbor Freight to tighten the bolts. Very happy esthetically and functionality. The price was decent.1599076

2017 Toyota Sienna

4.5 stars. I had a bit of trouble getting this installed, I could only get 3/4 bolts in at the same time. I took it to a local shop where I was going to buy a rear cargo box, and they were able to bolt it for me for free in about 10 mins. It looks great, and works great. I have a steep driveway, and the hitch does tend to bottom out, but that's a problem for me, not a problem with the hitch.1621440

One year later I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. I often chuckle when I see stock hitches and the whole thing is visible while mine is neatly tucked under with everything hidden except for the 2" receiver. 10/10 have recommended etrailer on many occasions to friends and family for their service and know-how. Since installing my hitch I towed a pop up camper 1500+kms and do frequent trips to the dump or my local dirt and gravel yard for supplies. Love it!1306289

It fit my toyota van perfectly. The rear height is low on the van so the close profile helps it clear curbs. The install video is excellent except you could show using a stick through the receiver to balance it better when raising it up with a floor jack.1608664

The hitch is great. Good welds, great powder coat and good thick steel leading to a heavy a quality piece of hardware. To repeat it is heavy and if you decided to install it laying on your back with just yourself it is a struggle. I was able to get it installed in about 2 hours with no help, but having another set of hands to help line it up so the bolts can go it would probably cut the install time in half....so if you have a neighbor that owes you a favor call them over! I would not hesitate to buy this because the fitment looks great and the engineering is design so you really don't have to disassemble much on the vehicle so even those with the most basic of DIY knowledge could do this install but lifting the rear or the vehicle for more room would also be very helpful. Great product! Installed just like shown in the video. I did cut the cover slightly different than instructed (see photos). The angled cuts allowed me to keep some of the cover over the hitch to minimize salt-splash in the PA winters. I also kept the bottom cover off until I finished installing the trailer lights (nice to do both at the same time). I was able to get space by jacking the van and putting it on jack-stands. Using stools and wood blocks helped put the hitch into place while I was putting on the nuts.1288278

Very impressed with this hitch. The square receiver is the only part that shows. Rest is hiding under the factory vinyl cover. This also gives you more ground clearance.1348607

For a while, I was going back and forth on whether I wanted to get this hitch or the slightly less expensive one that is not hidden. After watching the installation video with the tip about bending down the tabs on the floor pan so that I could install this without removing the entire bumper, I decided on this hitch. And I am VERY glad I did. The installation on this was just fine once I did the trick to not have to remove the bumper. A friend helped me and we got this on my Sienna in less than an hour. Now the only thing that is visible on the back of the van is the hitch receiver itself. Very nice, clean-looking result.1293507

Instruction say cut 4" wide and 7" deep into platic guard. That was too aggressive on my 2014 Sienna. Check out my pics. I could have cut 2.5" less deep and about 1" less wide. So maybe try 3" wide x 4.5" deep.1338820
