  • Bike Rack Needed to Clear Rear Doors of a 2016 Ram ProMaster
When the center mast on the Curt # C18085 is folded down it measures about 10-1/2". This is from the bottom of the shank that goes into the receiver on your 2016 Ram ProMaster and was taken with the 2" adapter on. So if you have a 2" receiver just measure 10-1/2" from the bottom of your receiver opening but if you have a 1-1/4" receiver you will need to subtract about 3/4" which means you will measure 9-3/4" from the bottom of your receiver.

  • Is the Swagman XTC2 TILT a Good Rack for My 2021 Lexus RX 350?
Yes, the Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S64671 is a great economical rack to use on your 2021 Lexus RX 350 with a 2-inch hitch receiver. As far as installing and removing your hitch to your vehicle, all it requires is for you to slide the shank of the rack into the hitch receiver and place the hitch pin into the pinhole of the receiver. Since the Swagman XTC2 only weighs 30 pounds, it is easily manageable to lift. As far as traveling at high...

  • Does Curt Trailer Hitch for 2010 Nissan Cube Require Stabilizing Strap for Bike Rack
I can confirm for you that the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11202 for your 2010 Nissan Cube does require a stabilizing strap for use with a bike rack item # 18050. So you can use this rack and hitch combo on your Nissan. The Thule Doubletrack Pro XT Bike Rack # TH92BJ is a great choice for a bike rack because it offers a ton of value. It is a premium rack from a company, Thule, known for their quality but at a great price relative to other racks.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver Compatibility with Curt 3-Bike Rack
All standard 2 inch trailer hitch receivers have the 5/8 inch hitch pin. The Curt Premium 3 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches - Tilting # C18063 will fit that receiver well and comes with an anti-wobble hitch pin that is threaded to perfectly fit your receiver and bike rack. I recommend the Curt Adjustable Cable Lock - Steel - 6' Long # C23666 to further secure your bikes to the rack. You may also want to consider the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative...

  • Swagman Anti-rattle Hitch Lock and Cable Compatibility With Swagman Bike Rack Shank
For your Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76177 and Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack # S64650 the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for Swagman Bike Racks w/ 2" Shanks # S64030 is not a fit. You will instead want the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for Swagman Bike Racks w/ 1-1/4" & Combo Shanks # S64031 which is a confirmed fit. If you have the similar Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers # S64663 then the 2 inch shank of the bike rack is compatible with...

  • Is The Swagman XTC2 Tilt A Good Bike Rack Option For A 2017 Ford C-Max?
Hi Lakshmi! As long as you have a Class 2 or Class 3 hitch on your 2017 Ford C-Max (I couldn't tell if you do in your picture), the Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S64671 is definitely a good rack to have! The tilting feature allows you to get access to the back of your vehicle and the anti-rattle pin will keep it from bouncing around while driving. However, there are no locks included and I think the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for...

I recommend the Thule Aero Crossbars # TH711420, Traverse foot pack # TH480R, and Fit Kit # THKIT1695. This is an easy installation, but if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself, I recommend having a trusted mechanic install it. I've attached a video of this installation on a vehicle without the panoramic roof to give you an idea of this process. This roof rack will be compatible with kayaks, bike carriers, and cargo boxes. I recommend the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier - Folding...

  • Does Bike With Step Through Frame Need Bike Rack Adapter on Swagman XTC-2 Bike Rack
You will not need the Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes # 64005 with the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Trailer Hitches # S64670. That adapter is normally used for hanging-style bike racks to give bikes with step-through frames a vertical mounting point. However, the XTC-2 does not require it; as you can see by the accompanying photo and review a customer sent in of this rack, they were able to use the XTC-2 with a step-through...

The Swagman Original - 4 Bike Rack for 2" Trailer Hitches # S64400 will allow you to put your bike and 3 kids bikes on it. The bikes at a slight angle as you referenced, but with kids bikes it isn't as big a deal for ground clearances and level transport. If as they grow you want to level the bikes for safer transport, I recommend using the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes # 64005. • Recommended Hitch Extender for Class I 1-1/4 Inch Hitch and 2 Inch Bike Rack
The Draw-Tite # 24857 for your 2008 BMW is only rated for Class I. This means the only options to have your bike rack fit are the # HTAD or the # HT5R that are compatible with Class I hitches. You will limit the 200 lb tongue weight capacity of your hitch to 100 lbs because the adapter will reduce the hitch's tongue weight by 50%. That new 100 lb capacity will need to include the weight of your bike carrier as well as the loaded bikes. I also recommend using a hitch lock like # e98880...

For your 2010 Toyota Corolla S, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24913 which is a confirmed fit. With this hitch, I recommend the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style # S64650. To secure your bikes and the rack, I also recommend the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for Swagman Bike Racks w/ 1-1/4" & Combo Shanks - 7' # S64031. • Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Honda Accord Sedan Hybrid
We have spoken with our contacts at Curt and the Hitch part # C11681 has indeed been confirmed as a fit for your 2014 Honda Accord Sedan Hybrid so I would recommend it for you. Since this is a Class I hitch you can only carry up to 2 bikes with it otherwise you will void the warranty of the hitch and potentially damage your vehicle. You will also need to use a stabilizer strap like part # 18050 so that you don't void the warranty of the hitch as well. The Swagman XTC2, part # S64670...

  • Height Above Ground Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack Will be on 2019 Subaru Outback With Curt Hitch C12136
Thanks for the purchase and it looks like your 2019 Subaru Outback has the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12136. When we installed that hitch on a '19 Outback we found that it measured 15 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver. So taking that into account, along with the 3 inch rise of the Swagman, it will be approximately 18 inches from the ground to the platform of the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack # S64670. If you do go with the XTC2 I recommend adding security to protect your...

  • How to Lock Bikes to Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack
Hey Mike, thanks for reaching back out to us! There are a few ways to secure your bikes to the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack # S64670, and the right option just boils down to what you're most comfortable with. The quick and easy option is a padlock with a 3/16" shackle, like the Master Lock # 131D, which secures through the pin holes on the handles (see attached photo), but Swagman also has their Lock Kit # S64031 which comes with a hitch lock for the rack as well as a cable lock for any bikes...

  • Will Swagman XTC-2 TILT 2-Bike Rack Work With Bike With Thicker Tube
Your bike that has a thicker tube will fit on the Swagman XTC-2 TILT 2-Bike Rack # S64671. The frame hooks of the XTC-2 will easily accommodate that size of tube, and will retract down far enough in order to grasp the frame. You will need to place your bike at the inside position - nearest your vehicle - in order to use it though, as this is the hook that will go down the furthest. I do recommend adding locks for this rack to help protect your investment. To lock the rack to your hitch...

  • Locking Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Fit for a Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack
To lock the Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack # S64671 to your etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98843 you need the Locking Anti-Rattle, Threaded Hitch Pin # S64029 you referenced, but I actually recommend picking up the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable # S64031 instead because it comes with the same locking hitch pin as well as a cable that connects to the hitch pin to provide security both to your bike rack and the bikes you'll have loaded on it.

  • Anti-Rattle Device Recommendations for 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch Hitch Adapter
What you described is one of the downsides of using a hitch extender like the # HTAD. It adds a bunch of movement to the hitch. If the bike rack has a standard hollow shank with a non-threaded hitch pin you could use the part # 63232 for that portion of the setup and then for the 1-1/4 inch portion you could use the # RM-061-125. The best solution though would be to go with a bike rack that is designed to fit your hitch size so that you don't have to use the adapter. This would solve...

  • Difference Between Swagman XTC-2 and XC 2 Platform Bike Racks
While very similar 2-Bike platform racks, the Swagman XTC-2 # S64670 is essentially an upgraded version of the XC 2 # S64650. The Swagman XTC-2 features re-designed and improved wheel cradles that are stronger and constructed with a soft coating to protect your bikes. The cradles will also position the bikes a bit higher up for improved ground clearance with the bikes loaded. The wheel straps have also been improved with a heavier design. I can help you out with the correct lock for the Swagman XTC-2 TILT 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64671. The small hole in the ratcheting bike hook mechanism on the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64670 is not intended for a padlock according to my contact at Swagman. Swagman's recommendation for securing the bikes loaded on this Class I carrier is to use their Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable # S64031. • Shorter Shank Recommendation for the Swagman Dispatch # S44FR
While we do have an alternative for you, Swagman does not make a shorter replacement shank that is compatible with your Swagman Dispatch Bike Rack # S44FR. That is because the replacement shank # SP474 designed to replace the current shank is a direct replacement of the same length. We also do not carry a shorter shank that is engineered to work with the Dispatch. With that being said, the only option is to get a shorter rack measured from the pinhole to the farthest edge of the carrier....
