For a woman’s bike, do I need this adapter!

You will not need the Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes # 64005 with the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Trailer Hitches # S64670.

That adapter is normally used for hanging-style bike racks to give bikes with step-through frames a vertical mounting point. However, the XTC-2 does not require it; as you can see by the accompanying photo and review a customer sent in of this rack, they were able to use the XTC-2 with a step-through frame without issue.

The only thing I recommend is adding the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for Swagman Bike Racks # S64031 in order to protect your investments. This will give you an anti-rattle lock to keep the rack securely in your hitch and a cable lock to keep your bikes safe on the rack.

For your Kia Soul there are only Class I trailer hitches available, such as the Curt # C11419. The Hollywood Racks HR1460Z-E is only rated for Class II and higher hitches, as it's just a bit too robust/heavy for a smaller Class I to handle (especially when it's loaded with bikes). For a Class I-rated carrier that can support heavier e-bikes, the Thule EasyFold #TH903202 is a great option.
