These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

These towing mirrors work great. We used them for multiple camping trips, including to the Florida keys from South Carolina. Every once in a while (maybe 10-14 days) you may need to tweak the adjustment but I’m not positive that wasn’t due to people bumping into them in parking lots etc. Overall we were very pleased with this product for the year that we used them. We recently purchased a new truck which came with extendable tow mirrors so we will no longer be using the long view slip ons but feel certain they would have lasted several more years. My only concern was that the South Carolina sun would deteriorate the plastic housing, so if we were not towing/camping we would remove them and store in the garage. Also there are foam pads attached to the inside of the housing that slides onto your existing mirror that appears to have shifted, probably due to the heat. I would recommend for the value and greater visibility these mirrors provide.
Mirrors are great. I have used CIPA tow mirrors for10 years. New truck means new mirrors. They fit well, don't vibrate, and give me excellent view while towing our 30' trailer.
Fits perfect on my 2016 Chevy 1500 with power mirrors. They are much better than the ones you get on Amazon or Walmart. They look like they came with the truck!! Very happy with etrailer and the mirrors.

Mirror fit well and provide plenty of visible area. Very little wobble from the wind at highway speeds.
Would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the phoenix molded into the front of them.
Really nice product. Just got the new style silverado and took the family up the coast about 300miles. Good price. I actually paid more for rush shipping to make sure I had them before our trip. They are sturdy and do a great job of viewing behind our toy hauler. They did slightly (super super small) scuff a part of the painted mirror. I think I can wax it out. Will add a little protective tape or some kind of furniture felt to the inside of the attaching mirror to solve that little deal. Overall: great price, sturdy, does the job, and not bad looking. Also 30 sec. intstall & 30 sec. take off.

Mirrors fit well on my truck and did extend the view, however I have not used them while towing my camper yet but I think they will work fine and the cost is much better than the hundreds of $ to replace the mirrors on the truck.

Mirrors work well, used them several times and still going strong. No problems with them so far.
These mirrors fit perfectly on my 2018 Silverado. They give me a much better view of the trailer and adjacent highway lanes. I would have given it 5 stars but the right mirror is difficult to adjust. I had to go from drivers seat to side mirror and back many times to get it to where I wanted. That's probably just part of the regular process. I don't know how that could be improved. It attaches and is removable very easily.

Ive used these wide view towing mirrors several times over the last year. They attach and remove very easily. I got better at adjusting the right side. Ill upgrade to a 5 star review.
The LVT 1800 mirrors are a great fit on my 2016 Silverado. Very easy to slide into place and are a soft snug fit. The hook and knob are easy to place and have locking ridges which will prevent loosening while traveling. I have not towed my Keystone Couger as yet but I think these mirrors will give me the view I need.
They are an improvement in seeing the trailer over the standard truck mirror that came with the vehicle. Best thing is they stay put on the truck mirror housings with minimal vibration, even at highway speeds. Mirror surfaces are flat with no distortion. Would like it better if the mirror surfaces were just a bit bigger to see more, especially on passenger side - would like to see wheels and more of the sides of the trailer.

The mirrors are still performing as well described as at the time of my initial review.
Received the mirror extensions, see to fit well, added a couple felt pads along top where they contact my chrome area on the mirrors, haven't towed my trailer yet but put them on and looks like I can see the area along the sides and rear corners of the trailer where I could not see before.

They work great have used them many times now will not tow my trailer without them.
Had to wait for these to be manufactured. 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 mirrors change a bit. They fit like a glove! So simple to install (slip on right over the mirrors and tighten with one simple screw) no tools required and no degree from MIT. I used them for the first time this week and went on a 500 mile round trip with the travel trailer. They're just what I needed to improve my driving safety. I think that hit the ball out of the park with these. Obviously I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Just tried the product out... seems to be exactly what I am looking for. Quality is good and so far I'm not disappointed with my purchase.
My bigger issue is with etrailer. Every now and then you stumble upon something really good. That's etrailer. I'm a repeat customer not just because of the products but also because of the outstanding service. Shipping is fast, customer support is no-nonsense and there's a wealth of good information out here for anyone who has a need to tow a trailer. No junk sold here...many products include reviews, instructional information and user/installation manuals posted by staff that is very helpful. It's just hard to go wrong.

Overall I really like these mirrors and they fit the need perfectly. I use them whenever I tow a 28' enclosed car trailer. The only issue I see is that the 2 pads that are inside the mirror that prevent mirrors from rubbing on the factory mirror while in use move. The adhesive on these pads separates from the pad in the summer. Maybe need a different adhesive or 2 sided tape to hold these in place a little better. overall I really like these since they're removable and the don't vibrate during use even at higher speeds. I would purchase again!

Mirrors are still great but the attaching arm broke while putting them on my truck today.
These worked great. Used them on a 400 mile round trip first time out and did not have to readjust the mirrors once! They fit over my trucks mirrors snugly and the clips made for a secure set up. There is also some padding on these mirrors to protect the truck mirrors from getting marred up by the extensions, which was a thoughtful touch for those who take care of their trucks appearance.
I haven't checked, but hopefully replacement clips are available; I can see these getting broke or misplaced during non-use storage. But that does not take away from the mirrors themselves.
On a different but related note. I ordered these mirrors and received a different set instead and etrailer responded to me in less than 12 hours and had the right product on its way to me in less than 36 hours. i share this because I acknowledge mistakes happen and how everyone responds shows real character. The employees for etrailer were professionals who owned up the their error and worked with me to see it corrected.

After owning the mirrors for a year and using them for over 3,000 miles of towing my RV Im still pleased with the purchase. They mirrors have never shifted on me while in use and the retaining clips still hold firm. This was a good purchase that is still holds 5 stars from me.
Used these mirrors yesterday for the first time. I received them promptly and in good condition. Installation is a snap. Three minutes for the pair, tops. The fit is good and snug. No vibrations or distortions. The only improvement I would like to see is a larger mirror size (that's why four stars instead of five). The shape of the extension body molding would have to be changed and that would undoubtedly decrease attractiveness and increase wind pressure. When towing my cargo trailer, however, excellent visibility is my main concern, not appearance. I purchased these mirrors for my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 because they have the largest viewing surface I could find but would like to have even more. Ideally, I would install a set of the GM factory style extendable towing mirrors but the cost of doing that is about twelve times more than these. Just not prepared to spend that much right now.
I would still highly recommend these extension mirrors to anyone. Good quality, good value, super easy installation. I have had nothing but very good experiences when buying from etrailer.com. Thanks

No issues to report. I havent used these mirrors a lot but will be in the near future. I have experienced nothing that would change anything in my 2016 review. Would still recommend.

Great. The quality is awesome even after a year of use.
Mirrors are a perfect fit on my early 2019 Silverado.

Easy to take on and off. Holding up well after a year of occasional use. These mirrors allow me to see down the side of the trailer and makes my trips safer.

No problems. Still like the first day I installed them.
The Longview Custom Towing Mirrors are great for towing. I towed my travel trailer from RI to FL and I’m very happy with the clear view. There is no vibration with these mirrors like other’s. These mirrors are easy to put on and take off.
This mirror extension set was extremely easy to install on my Chevy Silverado. It looks good and seems like it will work well. I have my RV hooked up but haven’t tried them out on the highway.
I will be watching for how secure they are at 70 mph.
My only surprise was the design on the back side. I expected them to be just plain textured plastic. It’s ok though.

Still going great. Just finished a week long camping trip and over 1,000 miles of driving. They worked well despite some very stiff head winds and 75 mph interstate speeds. There is a little vibration with them but acceptable.
Best Looking and most secure fitting trailering mirrors out there. Lined with nice soft rubber on the inside to save the paint.
