How to Install the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors on a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Longview, Custom Fit Towing Mirrors on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado. Not only is it just going to widen your view so you can look at the longer loads you may be hauling. It's also going to give you peace of mind and just keep everybody else on the road nice and safe. We have one flat mirror and it is going to be able to pivot left and right, and also down and up so that you can get it adjusted perfectly along with your factory mirror to get that perfect sight at whatever you're hauling. We get a OEM look and finish to it.

It's made of plastic, but it is going to match the mirror right here. So it's not really going to look like it's an aftermarket mirror. We do have a nice little bird right here for a little bit of texture. And it is really, really easy to put on and off. We have this little knob here.

You just loosen that up and that is going to throw it onto this little hook on the other end that just connects right here and fits into that little hole in the back. And as you can see, it's nice and tight up against our mirror. It slides on like that and we have some nice little bumpers. So it's not going to scratch your mirror either. To put it on, just get the right side, slide it on like this, take our hook, get it on there, get it through the hole, take our knob, put it on, give it a couple cranks till it's nice and snug like that.

And this mirror isn't going anywhere. These are going to add a couple of inches to the outside of your mirrors but it isn't going to prevent us from pivoting it in. We even have some little weather guards here and it's not going to hit our glass, it's not gonna hit the trim or our guards. This does come in a kit of two. So all you gotta do is just grab one of them and it'll come with both the driver and passenger side.

I definitely liked the OEM look. I like the custom fit. Comparing it to a universal towing mirror, they have these straps and stuff like that. I don't necessarily love that. Usually, I'm only hauling with my truck. So grabbing a custom fit just for your tow vehicle is definitely a plus. And that'll do it for our look at the Longview Custom Fit Towing Mirrors on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado..
