The very best towing mirrors for your 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 are the replacement mirrors that fit in the same mounting location as your factory mirrors. The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors - Electric/Heat w LED Signal - Textured Black - Pair # KS62135-36G or the manual mirrors # KS62137-38G without the extra features. These will give you the best view as they extend to 22-1/2 inches and have mirror face dimensions including spotter mirror of 11-1/2 inches by 7 inches.
If you are looking for mirrors for attaching to your current factory mirrors, I recommend the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side # LVT-1800. These custom fit towing mirrors slide onto your existing mirrors without tools. This mirror slides on and uses a hook arm around the inside of the factory mirror to hold in place securely. These will not fit stock mirrors equipped with additional lighting features that are not flush to the mirror, such as LED turn signals, automatic dimming, and puddle lights. For stock mirrors with these additional lighting features that are flush to the mirror, these mirror attachments will fit, but those functions may be lost.
For a mirror with non-flush LED's or other features, I recommend the CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror # 11953. This is a universal fit option that will fit your factory mirrors and has manual adjustment of two mirrors within a plastic housing.
All of these options are non-scratching by design.
