I received my order as scheduled and they were well packed in two boxes inside another large box. Installing the first one took longer than expected due to an error on my part. I pried the electrical connector loose from the door instead of just disconnecting it, It was hard to reconnect because I couldn't get both hands behind the door panel to reconnect. The second one was no problem, just push the clip to disconnect and leave the connector attached to the door.
Leaving the connector attached did create another problem. Use caution when drilling the hole for the 4th bolt as the shavings can fall inside the connector as mine did. I used compressed air to blow them out.
Overall the installation went well, probably 45 minutes for both. The controls work smooth and there is no wind noise. Amazing view from both the top and bottom mirrors. I would want these even if I didn't have a trailer.
I added these to my Sierra 1500 for towing our horse trailer. They are great providing great visibility, and greatly reduce the blind spots. The video on etrailer's web site made installation straight forward. I did buy a door trim tool which mad me feel a bit more confident that I wasn't hurting anything. First one probably took me an hour and one-half second one was less than a hour. Would definitely buy again.
Installed these on my 2019 Silverado LD. Have had them now for not quite a year now. Very happy with ease of install and function of these mirrors. So much better than the slide on tow mirrors that I had been using. Mirrors are secure and very little, if any vibration when extended. Makes towing so much better.
The project to install the towing mirrors on my 2016 went smoothly today. The hardest part was removing the inner door panels and trim to access the mirror attachment bolts. The actual install took about 5 minutes to remove the existing mirror and install the towing mirror. The door panels took about 30 minutes to remove. Once buttoned up the mirrors look great and operate as I expected. The mirrors are sturdy and I don't think they will vibrate while driving down the road. This is a great upgrade for a 2016 Silverado that tows a 33 foot fifth wheel trailer.
Fits my 2017 Silverado perfectly. Much better than the little mirrors that came with the truck … and I feel much safer when pulling my horse trailer.

2014 Silverado 1500 Double Cab
Significant improvement over the standard mirrors for trailering. Removing the trim to get access to the mirror mounting bolts is a bit tricky. There are several good videos on YouTube detailing the process. I’m fortunate in my neighbor is a GM mechanic and he helped me with the trim removal.
The mirrors are great. I wish I’d bought a pair years before. They fit great and provide significantly greater view when I’m trailering my 19 ft deep v fishing boat.
As usual ordering was easy and items received quickly. Would suggest that prospective buyers be aware that door panels and a hole drilled to install these mirrors on a 2014 and newer GM truck replacing stock mirrors. They look and perform as stated.

Very well. A big improvement over the towing mirrors I had to attach to the vehicle every time I towed my travel trailer.
The mirrors are of excellent quality. The look good. Install was quick and easy.

Recently purchased the K-Source towing mirrors as a pair for my 2015 Silverado. The package arrived on time and I was able to install them with help from the etrailer video. The video recommends only partially removing the door panel to access the mirror mounting hardware and wiring harness connectors, but fully removing the door panels gives more room for removing and then installing the new mirrors. The mirrors look very good on my Silverado, almost factory, and they function as advertised on the website.
I bought these for my son's 2017 Chevy silverado LT they look good only took an hour to install a friend of my son's installed them he is very happy with them these will be easy to use then snap on that he had.
Mirrors work great. Very pleased with them and would recommend to anyone.
These replacement mirrors were truly a great buy. They look like the standard option you would order on a a new vehicle, mine just didn't come with them. They are exactly what I wanted and got. Thank you for offering a bona-fide replacement parts.

Tbese K-Source Mirrors are great for the price that's significantly cheaper than a lot of tow mirrors on the market. They look great on the truck and look like they came from the manufacturer. The small nuts provided o bolt the mirror to the truck could be upgraded like the factory nuts with built in washers. Just use the factory nuts and you only need one additional washer. They eliminate blind spots during normal everyday travels and that alone is worth the upgrade to the tow mirrors. I have not towed a trailer with them yet but expect they will perform great. I do get slight vibrations on the passenger mirror when traveling on the highway but I can live with it thus the reason for 4 stars. 5+ Stars for customer service from etrailer. I had a problem with one of my mirrors and they quickly sent me a replacement one out in the mail. I received the replacement mirror in a few days. Communication was great with the customer service reps.

Still working great. Towing with them work as expected with greater visibility. Still that same slight vibration on the passenger mirror at highway speeds. The vibration makes the image slightly blurry but nothing that I cant live with.
Perfect fit. Plug and play on my 2015 Silverado. Great upgrade. I will buy from etrailer again..

Decided I was done with clip on tow mirrors and purchased a set of these for my 2017 Silverado. Install was less than 45 minutes, fits great. I will make a suggestion, I put magnets under the area where you have to drill the extra hole to catch all the metal shavings.
I purchased a pair of K source towing mirrors fora 2014 Silverado 1500. The quality is pretty good, and the install was made easy thanks to you tube
Changed out my stock mirrors for these since I have a camper to pull. The installation was medium difficulty because working around the trim was a little difficult. I did everything the video installation showed, it was just a kind of a pain to work around. Other than that, pretty straight forward, took me a couple hours and I was all done. The quality is great and works as advertised. I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase.

online videos on installation helps especially with removing door trim pieces which for me was the majority of the time and difficulty. It plugged into existing wire harness and everything works like it did with OEM mirrors (able to control tilt using door buttons, etc.) I just wished they would have sent the nuts with washers like OEM. I used on the OEM original nuts since it had washer base on the 3 but had to go buy a washer for the 4th nut since the 3/8 hole almost allows nut to go through the hole.
It took me about 2 1/2 hours to install. The biggest problem was disconnecting the electrical connection on the first one. I did notice that when drilling the holes, iron filings were falling down by where electrical connection so I stuck a rag down there to prevent them from getting in the connection and messing it up. Putting on the second one took less than a 1/2 hour after I knew what I was doing. The video was a tremendous help. Written instructions would have been worthless to me. Extremely satisfied with how they turned out and look.

Etrailer.com hit the mark. Not only did they have the extendable mirrors we were seeking, they also had a price within our budget. These mirrors come as a set. They filled my order promptly and the package arrived in a couple of days. The installation for both mirrors took only 2 hours. They function well and look great!
Ordered this set of mirrors for my 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. I found them to be a much higher quality product than a similar-appearing one I ordered from another company. Had to drill another hole in the door frame for the additional mounting bolt, which was easy, but the result was a very sturdy mounting. A test ride over a washboarded dirt road showed very little vibration in the mirrors. These mirrors will make towing trailers much easier and safer.
