Pivoting Upright Arms with Adjustable Tire Grips

Inno Tire Hold pivoting upright arms

The Tire Hold has pivoting upright arms with adjustable tire grips that grab your bike firmly by the wheels - not the frame. These grips allow you to rapidly load and unload your bike, and they won't scratch or scuff the paint. The grips have slots on the inside so you can adjust them to accommodate the wheel size of your bike.

To load your bike simply set the tire grips to the correct tire size, set your bike on the tray, rotate the upright arms against the tires, and press down on the tire grips until they're snug.

Inno Tire Hold pivoting upright arms

The arms are secured by ratcheting mechanisms that slide along the tray. Simply press the silver button on each mechanism to release and slide.

Grooved Wheel Tray

Inno Tire Hold wheel tray

The wheel tray has 3 grooves in the track that accommodate narrow 18c road bike tires up to 3" wide mountain bike tires.

Folding and Tilting Design

Inno Tire Hold folded away from vehicle

The rack tilts down - with or without your bike loaded - so you can access your vehicle's rear cargo area.

Inno Tire Hold front-mounted hand lever

The front-mounted hand lever on the base is easily accessible even with your bike loaded. No more crawling through your bike or squeezing between the rack and the vehicle to hit the tilt-release lever. Simply squeeze it until you see the red indicator, then lower the rack. When you raise the rack back up you will hear a click and the red indicator will disappear.

Inno Tire Hold folding up against vehicle

When the rack is unloaded you can squeeze the hand lever to fold it up for storage. This makes it easier to park in small lots at the trail head or in cramped parking garages, and it keeps the rack out of the way of other vehicles and riders.

Tool-Free Installation with Anti-Rattle Device

Inno Tire Hold anti rattle device

The hand knob at the base of the rack lets you tighten the shank in your receiver. Just slide the shank into your hitch, insert the hitch pin, and turn the knob until snug. The knob deploys an anti-rattle wedge at the tip of the shank to help take play out of the hitch connection.

Inno Tire Hold integrated cable lock

You can set the integrated stopper so that the shank automatically aligns with your hitch pin hole. The first time you install the rack you can adjust the sliding stopper so that it touches the face of your hitch. Then each time you install it going forward it's set up so that the hole in the shank automatically lines up with the hitch pin hole. This prevents you from having to bend down and check for alignment each time you install the rack on your vehicle.

Inno Tire Hold integrated cable lock

The rack also has a removable sleeve that lets you convert the shank for use in 1-1/4" hitches. Use the included Allen key to remove the sleeve from the shank.

Complete Security for Bike and Rack

Inno Tire Hold loaded on vehicle

The hand knob on the front of the rack has a keyed lock that secures the rack to your vehicle. To secure your bike to the rack, run the thick steel cable through your bike's frame and tighten the hand knob down over the cable's looped end.

  • Can Thule Trunk-Mount Bike Rack be Used on 2006 Honda CR-V
Thank you for all of the info and the picture! Normally when the hatch on a vehicle doesn't allow the hooks to properly secure you would just use an anchor type system like the Hollywood Racks part # HR44FR. These would sit inside the rear hatch area and would essentially pull against the door to hold the rack in place. I checked with all of our manufacturers and none of them list a fit for a 2006 Honda CR-V. So even if you were able to use anchors I'm not sure if a Thule bike rack, like...

  • Availability of Add-Ons and Spare Parts for Inno Tire Hold INH142 Bike Rack
We do indeed carry the Inno Tire Hold bike rack, # INH110 for a 1-bike, # INH120 for a 2-bike, # INH142 for a 4-bike version. The racks aren't discontinued, and we can get many spare parts from Inno. This particular rack isn't capable of being added onto. Kuat offers a wheel-mount rack, # BA22B for a 2-bike, or # BA22B-BA02B for a 4-bike. A 1 bike add on is available as part # KU97FR or a 2 bike as # BA02B. We can indeed obtain replacement parts from Kuat.

  • What Bike Rack do You Recommend for My 60-Pound E-Bike on My 2013 Ford Focus?
I have a great solution for you for a bike rack with a ramp. Unfortunately, Saris does not make a ramp for the Saris MTY Bike Rack SA4031. We also do not have a bike rack that has a ramp for a single bike. With that being said, we do have a 2-bike option that comes with a ramp. For that route, I recommend the Yakima OnRamp # Y96FR (for 1-1/4" hitches) or the # Y88DJ (for 2-inch hitches). The great thing about the OnRamp in addition to the included ramp is that you will not have to purchase...

  • Best Hitch for a Bike Rack on a 2022 Hyundai Kona Electric
The best hitch option for you 2022 Hyundai Kona Electric to carry a bike rack is going to be the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT52GR which is a confirmed fit for the Electric Kona. This hitch has a bolt-on, no-drill installation and will be a Class 3 hitch with a 2" hitch receiver. The bike rack that I would recommend that will work with both that hitch and your 55 lb. E-bike is the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202. This bike rack is compatible with the class 3, 2"...

  • Height Above Ground Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack Will be on 2019 Subaru Outback With Curt Hitch C12136
Thanks for the purchase and it looks like your 2019 Subaru Outback has the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12136. When we installed that hitch on a '19 Outback we found that it measured 15 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver. So taking that into account, along with the 3 inch rise of the Swagman, it will be approximately 18 inches from the ground to the platform of the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack # S64670. If you do go with the XTC2 I recommend adding security to protect your...

Hey Cameron, welcome back! Happy to hear you got the Curt item # C92UR installed. There is one bike rack that is going to work with your class 1 hitch and have the capacity you need without damaging your Nomad's fenders. It is the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack item # TH903202. This bike rack has a 65 lbs capacity and uses padded rotating clamps to secure your bike. These clamps can be attached to the frame, seat post, or handle bar post. • Is There Anything Holding Inno Tire Hold 1-Bike Rack In 2-1/2 to 2 Inch Sleeve
You aren't missing anything whatsoever. Due to the way the Inno Tire Hold Bike Rack for 1 Bike # INH110 mounts, the only thing holding the 2 inch sleeve in your 2-1/2 inch hitch is the safety pin of the Tire Hold. Basically if it were a standard 2 inch hitch, tightening the Tire Hold's handle, like you mentioned, would help secure it in the hitch along with the safety pin, but with a sleeve, that doesn't happen. There isn't a product that will improve that specific connection, and I would...

When choosing between the Kuat Transfer V2 # KU64FR and the Inno Tire Hold # INH110, there are a few differences to consider. While both racks have a weight capacity of 60 pounds, the Transfer V2 has a slightly larger bike compatibility range than the Tire Hold. It is compatible with tire diameters of 18-29 inches and wheelbases up to 50 inches long while the Tire Hold is compatible with 20-29 inch tire diameters and wheelbases up to 48 inches long. Another difference is the weight of the...

  • Can the Inno Tire Hold Bike Rack Be Used with a Bike That Has a Front Fender
I am not sure what you are looking for when you mention a "protector". The Inno Tire Hold Bike Rack # INH110 does mention that it may interfere with bikes with front fenders. But the style in which the # INH110 mounts on the wheel will only interfere with fenders if they cover the majority of the front wheel. Most bikes with front fenders have a smaller fender on the front and the # INH110 will not interfere with that style of fender because it does not come that far up the wheel. If...

  • Best Bike Rack For Transporting A Step-Thru Ebike On The Back Of A 2015 Toyota Prius
I see you ordered a class 1 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver for your 2015 Toyota Prius so you will want to make sure you buy a bike rack that is also compatible with that receiver. The Inno Tire Hold 1 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # INH110 that you were looking at fits your receiver and would work for your step-thru ebike as long as the bike weighs no more than 60lbs and does not have fenders or baskets. Yes, in order to make the Inno Tire Hold 1 Bike Platform Rack part # INH110 more secure during transport with your 2005 Subaru Impreza you have two options. The first option is an anti rattle device, TheRoadmaster Quiet Hitch for 1-1/4" Trailer Hitches part # RM-061-125 which clamps around the bike rack shank thereby reducing movement. Instead you will want the the Yakima OnRamp item # Y96FR for a 1-1/4" hitch or item # Y36FR for a 2" hitch. • Weight Capacity Per Bike VS Total Weight Capacity On A Bike Rack
Bike racks are normally rated in weight per bike, not total weight capacity. For example; the 2 bike slots on a bike rack may individually be able to hold up to 35 lbs each, but adding a bike that weighs 70 lbs in one slot could damage the mounting points and/or other parts, and would not be safe. This being said, I would look into the InnoTire Hold 1 Bike Platform Rack # INH110. This is a 1 bike rack that mounts to a 2" or 1-1/4" hitch, and has a weight capacity of 60 lbs. It holds...
