This is a great all-purpose hitch. I've used it to mount a heavy-duty bike rack and a steel T-rack to carry a canoe as well as lumber. Most recently I hauled 5 x 8 cargo trailers full of plants, then furniture for a 600-mile move. It was simple to use, problem free, very strong and sturdy. Now that I live on some acreage, I see a trailer in my future, so this will get a lot more use. I drive a 2013 Tacoma, so this is a good size hitch at a good price with sufficient capacity for my needs. I do use a key lock for the hitch as well.
Just your basic ball mount, the product is just like most 2” Hitch ball mounts, the service wasn’t very good though.
Ordered on June 15th (product was in stock) took them 6 days to send it out, took another 6 days in shipping and got all the way to my post office two days before leaving on vacation (I needed it for the vacation) and the post office said “box was empty and they notified seller” etrailer sent a new one (got here a week after my vacation) in a damaged box (packaging is horrible, little bit of paper in a box with a 5 lbs ball mount) almost lost this one too.
I don’t believe I’ll be using etrailer in the future (had issues before)
Does the job, however there's a lot of play when hitch mount is inserted into the hitch and when towing with an empty trailer. Very loud. Have to buy a silencer that goes around and secures the product.

I know absolutely nothing about hitches! I checked prices and products in my area and was dissatisfied with high prises and confusion over which product would be best for my vehicle. I did an extensive search on the internet and found etrailer.com. I called and talked to Jonathan. He walked me thru the entire order process and explained details about the products. It's a ball mount. Feels substantial and well made. Paint looks good, nice looking welding. Can't say anything bad. I understand that the hitch balls come in different sizes and types, but it would have been nice to get a simple hitch pin and clip when buying the hitch and ball mount together, as I was expecting that to be included with one or the other.

Year later, still works fine. Still think it should have included a hitch pin and clip.
The product was going to come in late but etrailer offered a more expensive hitch substitute for the product I ordered. I was completely satisfied with the service, communication and product. This is the second time I purchased from etrailer.

I seldom take the time to write a review but I felt compelled to share my excellent overall experience with etrailer.com. I ordered the C13200 trailer hitch receiver, 2" ball, 2" ball mount receiver, pin/clip, and C56217 wiring harness for my 2017 Toyota Highlander XLE. All arrived in no time and in excellent condition. The installation videos and PDF documents are outstanding. I installed the hitch receiver in roughly 45 minutes - includes time to convince brother in-law to come over to help hoist it into place. Wiring harness installation was a breeze, roughly 20 minutes (again, great instructional videos). I could not be happier with the finished product. The video and the written instructions for installing the hitch were very helpful for a novice like me. In the process I saw that there was a good reason for every tool listed for installing it. The hitch fits perfectly and looks very sturdy. Now we can't wait to be able to take our bicycles with us when we go to the mountains from Denver, letting us enjoy all the biking trails. Also the hitch arrived only 3 days after ordering it - great!

I'm assuming I have to buy the pin separately, but this wasn't pointed out to me, so when I got ready to use this I had to stop and get a pin.
Everything was as expected. Installation was a piece of cake after watching the very much appreciated video on etrailer.com. The hitch is very sturdy and fit like a glove. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Great! Got hit in the back and the hitch kept the vehicle from getting smashed worse. The only problem with it is the fact that it makes black and blue marks on my shins when I forget its there!

This hitch continued to work problem free. I had no issues with rust, anything coming loose or alternately, tightening up. It still a great all purpose hitch, and remains in great condition, so when I sold my Tacoma, I kept the hitch for my new truck.
