Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. Connector plugs directly into OEM tow package port - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness, which is located behind the center of the rear bumper.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plug on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Good directions -especially the video on youtube. Quick shipping and good price. Love how low profile this hitch is. The simpler option to install with now “towing capacity” exceeds this vehicles tow rating so I wouldn’t advise. Much quicker with a helping hand but can be done alone - the under body mounted options are almost impossible alone.
I found this difficult to install as the connection to the vehicle is hard to figure out and their are minimal or no instructions as to how to do it.
You sent me a wiring harness clearly stated on the package for a 2024 Blazer EV-Cadillac XT4 or Cadillac Lyrig and not a 2025 Chevy Equinox. I need this right off so please get the correct one in the mail ASAP and send me a return label for this MISTAKE !!!!
Connects to car but doesn't work can't seem to find out why. Dealers can't help me and car is to New to find out why with wiring schematics not available to me yet. Completely missing power for trailer system, no power at fuses. So waiting for more information to come out.

Hey Randy, If the towing package is present but the trailer connector lacks power, a Chevrolet dealer may need to program the vehicle's Body Control Module (BCM) to activate the trailer wiring circuits. This process typically involves a fee, which has been reported to be around $90. I know that is not what you wanted to hear but at least it points you in the right direction.
Worked perfectly on my 2024 Blazer EV even though the car did not have the factory towing package. The forums seem to be correct that they all have the wiring onboard. If your connector has a cover, watch the video for how to release it. Super easy if you know how; Impossible if you don't. Plug and play. No hardwired kit necessary.
Easy plug and play installation. The RS model of the Equinox EV comes pre wired for trailer hook up.
The unit is fine and works great. Now finding the connector was challenging - the EV version has a backup sound generator - and it was "hiding" the connector :-)

The installation of the wiring harness went great! On the Blazer EV Chevrolet has made it very easy. Remove the dust cap and plug the new wiring harness into it! It really is Plug-an-Play! The installation took about 15 minutes.

I ordered this for a 2025 Equinox. The instructions cover the Blazer,Cadillac XT4 and Lyric and Honda Prologue not the Equinox .The installation seems simple, but the results are disappointing. I have one pin going to ground but it’s not the correct pin. The other three are dead. I suspect a problem with the vehicle. If I had some paperwork showing that the installation is correct then I could go to the dealer and maybe they could fix it. But without a document I suspect that they would not be easily convinced that it is a vehicle problem.

Thank you, very happy with all phases of my purchase, I installed the hitch on my 2024 Honda prologue with no problems, you do have to relocate the foot sensor for the hands free rear hatch. The Draw Tite hitch is the way to go for anyone looking to save $$

I purchased this for my Lincoln corsair. At this time, I have not had a chance to install it, but everything was as described on the website.
The instructions are missing 1/2 a step. "Rotating" the hitch in place means sliding it under the body panels and in front of the two tabs that receive pins for securing the underbody panel. The review with the bumper fascia removed shows the two tabs.

Per Curt, the C44FR harness fits many different vehicles (including yours)... 2024 - 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV 2024 - 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV with factory Tow Package 2025 - 2026 Chevrolet Equinox 2025 - 2026 Chevrolet Equinox excluding Diesel 2025 - 2026 Chevrolet Equinox with factory Tow Package 2024 - 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV 2024 - 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV with factory Tow Package 2023 - 2026 Cadillac Lyriq 2023 - 2026 Cadillac Lyriq with factory Tow Package 2024 - 2026 Honda Prologue with factory Tow Package 2025 - 2026 GMC Terrain with factory Tow Package 2019 - 2026 Cadillac XT4 2019 - 2026 Cadillac XT4 with factory Tow Package According to Curt, if your Equinox wasn't originally equipped with the tow package, the Dealer will need to activate the harness once it's installed.
