Question:

looking for a 4 flat trailer wiring harness for a 2025 Chevy equinox. Cant seem to locate one that will fit. suggestions!

Hi Peter; this is a bit of a hot topic right now. If you 100% for sure have the tow package on your 2025 Equinox you should be able to use the # C44FR. However, we have had some people have issues with this on the vehicle side. I'm not sure if they didn't actually have the tow package but had the port, or if there is a problem Chevy hasn't addressed, but it isn't working for everyone. At least one customer took it to the dealer and they were unable to sort it out for them.

At the very least, before ordering and trying this wiring harness I would test your factory plug to see if there is power running to the pins for the lights. You also need to make sure it is a 4-pin connector since we have seen a 6-pin as well. Alternatively, you can install the universal # C59496. This will require splicing but you can count on it working without any problems once you get it installed.

Hey Peter, did you have a chance to test your factory plug to see if there's power running to the pins for the lights on your Equinox? I'd like to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others facing the same issue.
