This is the third hidden hitch I have purchased. Consistently great products. I have never had a problem with any of them. Easy install. Took about 40 min or so doing it alone. Fit like a glove. Strong work and kudos to the etrailer team. You guys are simply the best.
I couldn't be more pleased. Ordered on Monday afternoon, everything was on my doorstep Wednesday when I got home from work. Installed with no problems Wednesday evening. I am a heavy Internet shopper and this experience was one of the best I have had. Great price, super fast shipping, everything I ordered was in the package, good install instructions. This install was HIdden Hitch 2" Class III on a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country.
I installed the hidden hitch myself, and the fit was perfect! I followed the etrailer video Instructions & the install took about 2 hours. I used a ratchet strap to hold the tailpipe out of my way during the installation. I would HIGHLY recommend this hitch for similar vehicles. Michelle S sent e-mails that kept me informed about the status of my order. Will definitely order from etrailer again if/when the need arises!
I needed three different sized sockets and one was an odd size (18mm) but it installed easily. Installed both the hitch and th wiring kit on a Sunday afternoon.

Great Hitch, Installation OKFirst of all eTrailer got this hitch to ne within 3 days, that was very impressive!!! Trailer hitch installation was not as fast as they say, it took me about 1 hour or so. I have a 2010 Grand Caravan and 4 out of the 5 bolts where no problem, the last one was a bit tricky. I was a heavy equipment mechanic for 10 years to give you an idea of my skill. The hitch is very well hidden, but to get a ball mount in and out is a bit difficult, but not horrible. Quaility of the hitch is very nice. I had a Hidden Hitch on my 3/4 ton truck for over 10 years w/o any problems, and I towed a 28 foot travel trailer allot with it. Bottom line, great hitch, installation a bit tougher than expected, but not horrible. I would suggest someone who is not mechanically inclined to have someone install it.

Your Sales staff we extremely helpful, attentive and polite. I received the product in 2 days. Installation of the hitch was less than 1 hour. The wiring about 1.5 because I ran the power line internal instead of external. The videos were extremely helpful (good work).

Was a little skeptical at first putting a trailor hitch on our van and what it would look like. We purchased the Hidden Hitch trailer hoped for the best. Box showed up and we installed it the same day. Incredibly easy to install and it took less than one hour. Hitch is barelt noticable works great for what we need (cargo tote and bike rack). Would recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy to install trailer hitch.
The hidden Hitch was stated as being a custom fit and it was. No trimming of the facia of the van and fit like a glove. It cost a few dollars more but you get what you pay for. E-Trailer has videos you can watch them install the same hitch you are going to by.
E-Trailer is the best.
So easy, a kid could do it!
My 10 year old son and I installed this Hidden Hitch Receiver on our 2014 Town and Country in about an hour, helping him earn a scouting badge. It was a breeze, went just as the instructions and video said, and looks great. The receiver clears the underside of the bumper by about 1/16", so there was no trimming required.
Tip: Even once you loosen the exhaust system to get at the passenger side bolts, it's still a tight fit around the rear muffler to reach the bolts. Be prepared to pull it out of the way.
This installation went really well because our van is new. The last time we did this was on an 8 year old van. Needless to say, the bolts were rusted solid. No amount of heat or soaking seemed to help. One even sheared off. Lesson learned: Don't wait too long to install the hitch or you'll be paying someone else to finish the job.
This is the third trailer hitch and wiring harness I've purchased and installed from etrailer.com (for a caravan, outback, and a town and country van). The service has always been exceptional! etrailer's youtube videos are very helpful.
I use the hitches to haul a good size utility trailer, as well as for a bike rack with upto five bikes.
