Question:

My 2008 Town and Country Limited has the third row seats that stow electrically. Are there any special requirements for this installation? Thanks.

I reviewed the written installation instructions for the Draw-Tite 2-inch Class III hitch # 75579, which is a confirmed fit on your 2008 Chrysler Town and Country, and I found no reference to issues installing this hitch on vans with electrically-operated third row seating. But to make absolutely certain that this hitch will work for you I called my technical contact at Draw-Tite.

Draw-Tite confirmed that this 2-inch hitch # 75579 will fit just fine on your van. I linked for you a video showing this hitch being installed on a 2008 T&C.

If you also need a wiring harness for a trailer you can use Tekonsha 4-pole kit # 118552. This will provide a 4-pole trailer connector to deliver lighting signals and it will also protect the van's wiring from electrical faults. An install video for this item is included too.
