Transmission coolers are often not totally required, but they do help prolong the life of the transmission. It's your call, but it's a cheap investment to help prolong the life the transmission. For a transmission cooler I would recommend the Derale Transmission Cooler part # D13502.
For a hitch I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class III receiver, part # 75579.
You will also need a trailer wiring harness, part # C56331 to provide a 4-pole trailer connector. If the camper uses a 7-way connector and has electric trailer brakes, you would also need a brake controller to actuate them.
Although we have many controllers to choose from, the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 would be my recommendation due to how easy it is to use. To install the controller, you would need our Brake Controller Install Kit, part # ETBC7.
Finally, you will need a ball mount, # 2753 and the appropriately sized trailer ball. For a 1-7/8 inch ball, use part # 19260 for a 2 inch ball.
I have linked you to some FAQ articles, installation details and install videos that you might find helpful.
