Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the single-pole, double-throw Momentary Switch. This is going to allow you to have a single power source coming in and two power outlets. So, when you push on the toggle switch to one direction, or the other, it will allow you to direct that power to one or the other. So if that's a forward and reverse, something like that, this will work really well.It is a momentary switch, so it does default back to that off position.

So if you want power to continue, you'll have to press it down and hold it, and when you let up, it automatically defaults back to that off position, and it will go either way.This is a water resistant design. It's got an IP rating of 66. So it is going to be dust proof. No dust can get in and cause any problems to the circuits or anything like that. It is also water resistant.

So it's not waterproof. It'll hold up to splashes and those sort of things. So, if you have it on a boat, it should do fine, but it won't do good if it's submerged. It is not waterproof. So definitely will hold up to water environments, just do not put it under water directly.For those of you who want the specifics as to it's Amps and volt ratings, you can see those on the screen there.

It is going to do a good job of putting that current through so that you get the proper electric flow to whatever you're hooking this up to.And as far as our dimensions. Overall, we're looking at right about, I'm going to call it, an inch and a half for the switch and the housing there, by right about an inch wide. The switch itself, I'm going to say it's right about five-eighths of an inch by, call it an inch and a quarter. The cutout that you'll need to get this installed. It's going to be right about just over an inch and a half by, probably, just over three-quarters of an inch to get this installed.

So it won't take up much room.Very easy terminals to get your wires hooked up to. This is a black design, obviously, so it should blend in well if you've got a black dashboard or something that you're planning on putting this onto, or if you want it to stand out against a different color, it should do a good job too. It's universal black so it shouldn't clash too much unless you have brown, but I'm not a color expert, so I wouldn't go off of that. It is black, that's all you really need to know about that. It is made here in the USA. So you can trust that it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US.So really, if you are needing a toggle, single-pole, double-throw button, I think this is going to be a great option for you.
