Today we'll be taking a look at the Lippert replacement 500:1 motor for electric in-wall RV slide out systems. This is going to be a direct replacement from Lippert Components for that motor on your slide out to get you rolling in and out as you need to. This can replace either the current style, which we have here, or the older style slide out motor. We have all our wiring at the bottom there to just plug it right in, so we don't have to worry about any cutting or splicing. It just plugs into place. You'll find the directions on how to install this at the product page for this at etrailer.com. The part number for this is LC287298. That'll get you out and rolling so you can know just how easy it is to install.
You will have to have access to the exterior and interior of your RV for that slide out system to get that motor in place. Typically it goes on the outside edge of the slide out, sort of at the frame there between your exterior and interior wall. There's no assembly required with this. It just easily installs inside that side wall, and it helps to extend and retract that slide out with ease. It has that gear ratio or motor ratio of 500:1 for our electric in-wall RV slide out systems. Just as the single motor, it doesn't come with any other hardware to get this installed, and this product is made in the USA.As far as dimensions, going from the edge down here to the top, it's about 6 1/4 inches, 6 1/8 inches.
The barrel is about 1 3/4 of an inch in diameter. The length of the little pigtail coming off of our motor is about 4 inches long. That's going to do it for our look at the Lippert replacement 500:1 motor for electric in-wall RV slide out system.

Replaces the 500:1 high torque motor for the electric In-Wall RV slide-out system. This dependable and durable motor will get your slide-out back in action and provide reliable operation for years to come. The part worked fine. The slide out wall not so much. So, I got things working, and sold it.
I had a bad slide out motor on my rv that needed to be replaced. After some shopping around I found the best price and also in stock at etrailer. I also decided that I would get the hi-torque motor that was an upgrade To my old motor. Easy to install and works great. Etrailer offered the best price, in stock ready to ship, and for additional money overnight delivery. If I hadn’t needed it so fast it would have been free shipping.
Great service as usual
Slide module had an error of a short between the controller and the motor. Found out it was the motor. The motor took take of it. Easy fix.
This motor was a "like for like" replacement for original. It took some time and effort to install due to the peculiarities of my RV but once installed, it is working as it should. Best part of the the deal is etrailer made rush shipment from Missouri to California in less than 24 hours so I was able to get rolling again with only a short delay in my trip. Customer service was very helpful.
Unfortunately, part arrived damaged. Contacted etrailer, they sent out a return label immediately, and have taken care of the issue. Great customer service!
GREAT Service, part arrived in 2 days. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and professional. Thank you, Vince Mee
Was just what we ordered. We paid extra for 2 day shipping and it arrived on time!!! So our camping trip didn't need to be postponed!
Thanks.
Will use this company again in the future.

I’m happy to report that my sludge is working very good with motors I put on last year. These motors should have been on the coach in the first place I feel. Or maybe the manufacturer realized they had a problem with the under torqoe motor on the original application
