Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the mini on-off-on RV switch. This is a very small switch. It's only about 1/2" wide by 3/4" tall. It is going to be very compact in size and it's going to be an on-off-on switch.
What that means is that single or that middle pull there is going to be your power in, and then you're going to have the power out to the top and power out there at the bottom. When you flip the switch, it's going to send power out to that top pole, and that will make it a turn off for both. Or you can send the power to that bottom pole. This is going to be great for maybe if you have a slide-out or something in and out or something along those lines where you're not going to need power going to both at the same time. It's just going to send it to one or the other, and then rest in the off position there when you don't need power going to either one.Very easy to use little rocker switch kind of thing there. This is capable of handling 13 amps at 125 volts of alternating current as well as 10 amps at 250 volts of alternating current and five amps at 14 volts.
This is a quality material. Obviously you want to make sure that if you're going to be using electrical equipment, it's going to be safe. This is a UL as well as CSA and ROHS approved. It's going to hold up well, do a good job, not cause any electrical issues for you.To get this installed, you are going to need to cut out that is just slightly smaller than that 3/4" height and 1/2" width. Right about 3/4" and 1/2" though, as it's not going to take up very much room at all.
This is a nice black color, as you can see. It should blend in well, if you have a black in your color scheme on your RV. And it is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US.If you are needing a replacement switch, or if you're out in a new component to your RV, this is going to be a very small switch. It might be kind of hard to find in the dark, but it's not going to take up much room, not going to be very noticeable, and it shouldn't take away from the aesthetics of your RV wherever you're putting this. It should do a good job of giving you that option to send the power to one or the other option.
That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
