Note: For a no-drill option, use this part with the Short Bracket (#18140) or Long Bracket (#18136). Clamp the short or long bracket to the hitch and attach the trailer connector mount to the no-drill bracket. The fasteners included worked fine. I decided to directly screw the bracket into the Curt no show hitch that I purchased from etrailer.(which looks great and was a simple install as well)
I'm not much of a review writer but for etrailer I'm willing to give it a go. This part came quickly, made of solid construction, and was super-easy to install. From the time I opened the package until the time it was installed was literally less than 2 minutes. The lock washer-nut to secure it makes it unnecessary to hold the nut in place with a pair of pliers. Once threaded thru to tighten, it was about 3 turns on each screw and I was done. The bracket fit perfectly to the hitch...talk about teeing up an "Easy Button" for the customer. Finally, I've interacted with their sales and service department also, they are top-notch, smart, and professional. I purchased my trailer hitch from them also (actually I have their hitches on both my vehicles).
I cannot get the 4 pin connector in the slot on this bracket. I tried lube on it and even use my Dremel to expand the slot and I still cannot get it to go in.
At this point I gave up trying to get the connector in the slot. I added this to my hitch receiver and wiring kit to clean up the wiring, but at this time I just have the car connector zipped tied to the hitch. Waisted money on this bracket!
Easy to install with the harness. Gives the installation a super clean, factory installed look.

product seems fine, shipping is pretty bad. So many reviews mention damaged shipping packages. Mine was received with the hitch sticking out the side of the box. I would think with so many complaints that someone would figure out how to package these things, it's not rocket science.
The hitch was perfect. I have never installed a hitch before and the videos show me exactly how to do it. I save $[XX] by doing it my self.

Fit perfectly the hitch I purchased had the bracket for it.
We purchased the trailer hitch assembly in addition to the mounting bracket. My husband and I were able to install by ourselves because it was a perfect fit. Arrived in just a few days and we couldn't be happier. Thanks!!
Solid enough, seems to only be able to slide through one way. I put it in the other way for a cleaner look but now it doesn't hold as well. I had to put a small bead of silicone to hold it in place.

Update a year later, working fine. Havent used it much but seems to be solid.
Shipping box arrived with a big tear in box. the mounting bracket was losely packed and could have fallen out during shipment. Was never given a tracking number for order though figured out that could track using e trailer order.
Sometimes the plug slips out of the bracket. Would be nice if it could be secured into the bracket.
I think this is an ok bracket... but... I just can't figure out a clever mounting option for my 2022 Hyundai Palisade e-trailer Hitch because of how the hitch mounts. Not a fan of popping holes in car trim - will use hitch but not that much! And... well its just way to easy to have the 4-wire flat connector tucked up nice and safe out of sight between the hitch and bumper. Easy to flip in and out.
This is my second trailer hitch, I have purchased though etrailer. Quality is great, my only problem with this one is the box. The bottom of the box was torn all the way across. The box had to be re-taped close. The hitch has scratches and paint missing. The hitch and the box it came in is excellent quality. My suggest, when packing the hitch, put bubble or styrofoam wrap around the three end. That way it will not move in the box and still have some give to it.
Lines up with the holes in the etrailer hitch. It accepts the wiring adapter kit. One of the mounting bolts did snap off because I over-tightened it. I used the ziptie in its place.
etrailer is a reputable company and I’ve sourced products from them in the past. This 4 pole mounting bracket is absolute junk however.its flimsy and doesn’t even accommodate a std 4 pole plug. The installation instructions aren’t even for a 4 pole connector (they’re for a round one).
Everyone misfires occasionally - they dilute their reputation by offering junk like this.
It arrived quickly. I had to shave down the narrow edges of the 4 pole plug to get it in this bracket. Even so, it was still an extremely tight fit. But now I know that the plug will not come loose and it is working. I just hope that the plug was not internally damaged from the force used to insert it into the bracket.
I received my etrailer order in a timely manner and everything was perfect.
They communicated with me throughout the process so I always knew where I stood.
I have made several etrailer purchases and will continue to do so.
They also have excellent videos on their products and installation so you are never on your own
The trailer hitch was perfect and all the parts arrived together. But big thumbs up to the time and effort your team buts into production of the video clips for installation.

Had to make the bolt holes larger than the instructions to get the bolts into the frame otherwise the installation was not hard
took my 30 minutes to get it to fit the curt wiring harness plug.
Nothing stated there was a secondary piece required for the mounting bracket. Should come as one unit with everything needed.
This is a handy little bracket for mounting the 4-Pole Flat connector. The Honda Pilot I am working on didn't have a good flat surface to mount to, so I cut a slot in the bracket and mounted it to the hitch. I think a factory slot would be a good improvement to this item

One year follow up: bracket is still secure and shows no sign of rust or deteriorating. Used primarily for towing and launching my boat.
