Holy Cow, delivery was fast! No instructions on how to install, but my husband tells me that there is a video on your website showing how to install it. It should be an easy install anyway.

Easy installHave not pulled a trailer with it yet but the installation was was quite easy. Everything went well. I do wish there were torque specs in the instructions.

I installed this receiver on a 1995 Ford Bronco. Plan on about 3 hours for installation on this truck because access to the frame is blocked by the gas tank. I found it easier to lower the gas tank instead of trying to fish the bolts with a wire. Good fit and quality construction. Instructions were simple and complete, including torque specs. Video of the F-150 install will give you a good idea of what's involved.
Excellent hitch just as described. Installation is strait forward if you have the proper drill bits & torque wrench.
E trailers has the best price around. The shipping was expeditied at no extra cost.
UPS beat up the box and the hitch receiver was scratched but that was on UPS.

First I shopped local shops to find the 14001 hitch no one had it and they all told me that they could order it and it would take appox 2 weeks. I checked online and found E-Trailer and called them direct they answered all of my questions precisely,so I went back online to see if there was anything elese extra that I wanted to order. I ordered the hitch,to my suprise it came earlier than what I was told.
I installed the hitch in about a half hour it fit like a glove what a great hitch.Workmanship second to none. Customer service outstanding

you say i received the product at 6:10 am but really it was closer to noon pacific time.
i really enjoyed the tracking feature you offered i did not need to wait around a day in advance i new what day it would get here that was really cool.
i was afraid to order your product one custermers reveiw said that the one he ordered did not fit and you guys would not help him fix the problem but i did and the one i ordered was a custum fit for my 2002 dodge 2500
it went on quicker then the old one came off, all the parts were there and i guess because it was a custum fit for my truck and i was replaceing a class III hitch that was alresdy on it i did not have to drill any holes i gave it a 4 out of 5 because it did not have a metal protective box mounted on it for the electrical plug receiver i had to cut off the the one on the old hitch and attach it to the bottom back bumper, i chose not to have it welded on the new hitch like it was on the old due to the nice weather proofing paint and the inside being sealed off to the elements.

I ordered the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on the Memorial Day weekend and it was delivered on Friday, the same week. I found the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver fit my 1980 Ford F150 Pickup without any problems. Other places I checked did not have Trailer Hitch Receivers for vehicles this old. It took a little over an hour to install. The extra time was needed to drill six 1/2" holes in the bottom flange of my truck frame.
Operators friendly. Had a pickup with hitch not fitting. Return was simple. Ordered different one fit great. Thanks for the experience. Chris was great. Would like a hat to advertise for your company.
Layout of this website makes it easy. Description gives detailed information. Extremely fast delivery. Ordered 7p.m. on Thursday, received 3:30p.m. on Friday. Welds look good and black finish is slick. Drilled a few holes in the frame and it fits great. About a finger width between bottom of bumper and top of receiver. Receiver end is slightly recessed behind bumper.

Great hitch. Very well made. It’s mostly up out of sight, no problems during installation.
I drilled a couple extra holes and moved it in toward the axel about 4 inches so I would not catch my leg on it when not in use. worked out well. I made a clip, bolted it to the passenger's side cheek and shortened the end of the spare tire carrier to retain my spare underneath. I haven't towed with it yet because the old d100 is being restored but I have used curt hitches before and they are great.
Appears to be very well made with close attention to details and finish. Fit the chassis perfectly. Attaching hardware (bolts, nuts, washers) were robust and high quality. It was shipped very quickly and I was kept informed of the progress of the order at each step. Buying this item from this company was overall a VERY positive experience, and I highly recommend them.
Installed on a 1973 Ford F-250 with 37-3/4" frame. Installation was straight forward. Product fit well. I put the second hole on the last riveted frame cross member, everything lined up perfectly. Make sure to allow enough room for the washers on top of the frame rail, I had to use a die grinder to open up one hole because I made the hole too close to the frame and could not get the washer to sit on the frame rail. A second person and C - Clamps helped a lot. We lifted the receiver into position, clamped it in place. I drilled one hole on each side, installed the bolts, then removed the clamps and drilled/installed the rest of the hardware. Contrary to the instructions, I did not have to remove my spare tire (thank Jesus!).
Great product, shipped fast. This is my third Curt hitch and one of many times I've used etrailer.

After a year and several 10,000 tows. Still going strong and the finish is holding up nicely.
The hitch receiver was an easy install, no drilling of holes needed! Very nice hitch!
This hitch appears very well make and was fairly easy to install on my Bronco. Even at 70 I had no issues and it took about an hour at a slow pace. First thing I did was wire it to a floor jack and jack it in place to mark the holes, step drilled as recommended and fished the bolts through as is necessary on the Bronco due to the fuel tank position. I didn't see any Bronco install pic here so here are a couple of pics. Very similar to the F150 type install except for the fuel tank.
