Trailer Hitch for 1992 Ford F-250

Question:
I have a 1992 ford f250. The trailer hitches you sell claim to be custom but have a 34 inch width. A 1992 is 37.5 wide. Is there one that really is the right width. Thank you

Hi Mike; based on your frame measurement it sounds like you have the standard or step bumper model of the 1992 F-250. The Curt # 14001 is confirmed to fit this version of the pickup. If you want to be sure you can measure between the mounting holes in your frame. The distance across for each set of mounting holes is 36" and the distance front to back between mounting holes can be seen in the diagram below.

Hey Mike, how did things turn out with the Curt hitch for your F-250? Did the frame measurements line up the way you expected? Your update could make it easier for others working with older Ford trucks.
