Question:
Hello. I have a 1992 F150 and I’d like to get a class 4 hitch installed. The issue is that I have a duel exhaust welded to the underside of the vehicle so a standard hitch won’t work. I have pictures I can share. Are you able to help me find a class 4 that will work for my truck?

Hi Richard; you can send me your pictures by responding to the email that brought you to this page. Assuming you have a standard or step bumper, you can also check the instructions attached further down on this page for the available hitches and see if the exhaust will be in the way. You can choose from the following Class IV or V hitches:
-Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2" # 14001
-Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2" # C15300
-B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2" # BWHDRH25122
More than likely you will need to take the # E17 to a local fabricator and have them fashion a custom hitch that will be able to accommodate your exhaust.
