Trailers for Cars/Trucks/SUVs with easy towing
Weekend ready or cross-country, these trailers move cars/trucks/suvs behind your RV. Match the wheel strap size to your tire size, seat the taillights fully in their rubber grommets, and add a coupler lock plus a wheel lock for security when parked. Plan for two-person assembly, and check ground clearance when loading low vehicles; backing up can be challenging.
Seat the taillights fully in the rubber mounting grommets to reduce pop-outs. Use zip ties to keep connectors up and away from the pivot bolt hole. After bumps or rough roads, walk around and confirm lights and wiring are still secure.
Backing up can be challenging. Plan pull-through parking when possible and avoid long reverse moves. If you must back up, go slow and make small corrections to keep the dolly tracking straight.
Use a coupler lock sized for a 2" ball when hitched or unhitched. Add a heavy-duty wheel lock to deter rolling the dolly away. If needed, a heavy chain around a solid part of the frame and a fixed object adds another layer.
Match the strap size to your tire size. If the supplied small-tire straps work loose or come off on larger tires, step up to larger straps. Fit the straps on your vehicle before travel and recheck after a short drive.
Confirm your ground clearance and how far the front overhang extends. Position the front tires very close to the tip of the rack to make the fulcrum effect work. Move slowly and watch for any contact as you crest the ramps.
