Question:
I have purchased 2 NuCanoe U10 and I’m interested in buying a trailor to transport these. The length at 10’10” isn’t a problem, but I’m concerned with their width of 41 in. Can you make some suggestions? Thank you for your time in this matter. Jerry Mounts DDS

Hey Jerry, thanks for reaching out. Sure thing! We do have kayak trailer options that will work really well for carrying your two NuCanoe U10s. We have options with extra-long crossbars which will work great for accommodating those 41" wide kayaks. Here are our best options for that:
- Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer for 2 Heavy Kayaks - 7' Bunks - 800 lbs # MAL25FR
- Malone MicroSport Trailer for 2 Heavy Kayaks - 7' Bunks - 800 lbs # MPG461B2
Both of these have 78" crossbars, so you'll have plenty of room for both kayaks. The bunks make for a solid platform, and they make loading and unloading very easy. Between those two options I'd probably lean towards the LowBed. It has a lower crossbar base, so you don't have to hoist the kayaks up as high when you go to load up. You can even add a winch stand # CE31013G and light-duty winch like part # MT50156 which really helps with loading.
The trailer itself is a lightweight galvanized steel frame and it has leaf spring suspension. It has tires rated for highway speed so longer trips are not a problem.
Where do you most enjoy paddling your U10s? Do you do a lot of fishing?

My son ani just got them. He did the research on the kayaks and different brands. We’ll be using them on a small river for fishing primarily. He’s 31 and 6’3”, I’m 70 and 6’5”. Stability was a big concern especially for me. It seems NuCanoe fit the bill for us. Thank you for your very informative response. Do we put the trailer together ourselves? That won’t be a problem, just wanting to make sure. Again, THANK YOU for your time and response. Jerry MountsDDS
