Question:

Im considering the Micorsport with retractable tung and stand-up bumpers so I can store it standing in my garage. The height of my garage is 101, the drawing of this trailer shows the standing height at 102, which I could deal with by removing the coupler. In a QandA with Delta B he says the height is 107inch which I couldnt deal with. Please confirm the standing height.

Hey, Jim!

I see that you ordered the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer part # MPG464-LB. I reached out to Malone and they were able to provide me with a helpful diagram of the trailer with the Retractable Tongue Kit part # MPG494 installed.

The total length of the trailer with the kit installed would end up being 102". It will sit at a slight angle because of the bumpers on the back of the trailer so it may still be okay with that 101" high garage. Or use some wood to give it a little more angle so that you don't have to remove the coupler every time. Just make sure it's up against something for support if you do add s some blocks of wood.

What kind of gear are you going to be mounting on the trailer?

Just measured mine in the garage. Sitting right at 98” tall. You could even reduce it a few more inches by removing the tongue stop at the back. If you really wanted to reduce the height you could slide the tongue out and store separately, reducing the standing height to 79”.
