RV Door Parts for Entry Door upgrades

Dial in your setup with locks, latches, hinges, and holders built for your entry door. Measure the cutout and door thickness, and confirm left or right hand, since some European-style locks use unique openings and not all accept keyless options. You'll find choices with deadbolts, keyless entry, sturdy door holders, and controlled-motion hinges—often simple to swap, though some installs may need minor catch or frame adjustments, and one hinge can control door swing.
Measure the opening before ordering. Remove 4 screws to pull the lock and check the cutout. European-style locks use about 7-7/16" tall x 3-3/4" wide and may need a 1-1/2" minimum door thickness. Other locks fit cutouts between 2-1/2" to 3" wide x 3-1/2" to 4" tall, and smaller openings like 2-3/4" x 3-5/8" exist. The cutout is not a tight tolerance, but confirm fit.
Not currently for that handle style. This style has a unique 7-7/16" tall x 3-3/4" wide cutout that matches similar Euro-style door assemblies. If you need keyless, confirm your cutout and door thickness first, or consider a different style that fits your opening.
Installation can be straightforward and quick, often around 5-10 minutes. A new lock can be larger than the old one, so dry fit and check screen-door clearance. Start the two screws by the latch and deadbolt first to keep it square. Some kits include new metal plates; use them if your old ones are worn.
A 45° door holder can help when a fully open door blocks access. The catch may be made for a straight-on latch, so dry fit and be ready to modify the catch for angle alignment. Heavy-duty holders can help in strong wind and reduce rattling; push or pull near the connection point to avoid stressing the door.
