Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this 72-inch-long, three-inch-wide stainless steel piano hinge. Now this hinge'll provide a nice sturdy, continuous support along the length of your cabinet, your door, or your panel. And this is great for oversized doors, trailer doors, and entrance doors. It'll provide more support than multiple small hinges. And the nice thing on this hinge, it's a continuous design, which will reduce the stress on the hinge when it's used with heavier doors.
Now this hinge will rotate 270 degrees. We'll zoom in just to show you that. You can see, I can rotate this part. You lift us up here and you can see that it'll rotate back about 90 degrees. And then if you go forward, it'll go an extra 180 degrees.
So 270 degrees total rotation gives you a nice full opening and closing motion. Now this is made of a durable stainless steel construction, resists corrosion, has a 2B mill finish which gives the metal a bright shine. And that finish is a standard finish that's smooth, bright, moderately reflective, and it even may exhibit a slight luster. This is a weld on or bolt on installation. Now to bolt it on, it does require drilling holes into the hinge.
And this part is made in the USA. A few specs on this. We'll do the overall length. Take our tape measure, measure from one end all the way to the other end. Right at 72 inches or six feet.
And width on it, is gonna be the total open width, so the widest point. So if we measure that, you can see it's gonna be right at three inches. The knuckle length, each one of these sections here is a knuckle, so if we measure the length on those, a knuckle will measure right at two inches. And then the pin diameter of the large pin that goes through those knuckles, that holds both these pieces together, that size of that pin diameter's 3/8 of an inch. Again, you can see how it rotates. I found this on a web search and couldn't believe E-trailer had it in stock, it came within two days. Happy to get this project done!

I have 1 year of use as part of the upper ramp extension for my enclosed trailer and it has performed flawlessly. No rusting or corrosion and it has held up to traffic from a heavy diesel mower, appliances, and pallet jacks.
Exactly what I needed for the ramp extension on my car trailer door/ramp. I couldn't find anything nearly as heavy-duty as this locally or elsewhere online. Thank you!
Shipping tube showed up empty. The shipping tube was sealed with only packing tape which didn't stand a chance at holding this heavy hinge inside the tube. It should have had plastic plugs plus tape or something more substantial to hold the hinge inside.
I didn't use these for a trailer but I bought these to cut down and make hinges for armored vehicle doors and hinged windows. Very heavy duty and priced well. Difficult to find hinges, happy they were available through here.
Very impressed with the quality this hinge. I had to repair my FlipBak tonneau cover. This hinge will provide superior security over the original piece of rubber that those tonneau covers use as a hinge.

This starts with an order on 5-7-24. The part was out of stock but did come in and was shipped on 5-29-24. Odd thing was the tracking # supplied only showed creation of a label. When it finally arrived, shipping tube bent, there was no part inside, nothing. I contacted etrailer and they sent another one out. Same thing happened with the tracking showing label only. Two weeks went by and still no part. I contacted etrailer again and was told that the USPS facility was having troubles and manually attempting to track packages. etrailer next contacted me and said they were going to use a different carrier and shipped it out on 6-21 through UPS. It arrived 6-22-24, shipping tube bent, but part had negligible damage and will work for my project. etrailer went to the extreme for this and I appreciate it.
It was my fault for ordering this in the first place. I thought that the original extruded rubber hinge was not available. Now I have this hinge but have no possible use for it
Worked great, just what I meeded
I am using this as a vertical door hinge for my shed. It is working perfectly. The heavy shed door no longer sags. The hinge operates smoothly. It was probably overkill but I don't like having to fix things more than once.
used cobalt drill bit drilled 4 holes in hinge on corners with paper to keep door space for future paint ,drilled holes in hinge only just touch wood ,undid 4 screws ,recessed wood with bur thing ,punched stainless hinge into wood, screwed in screws near flush ,very clean super price and strong ,thank you
This is the item I needed and it was sent out and received very fast, very pleased with the product here for my enclosed race trailer to help with my need after I had upgraded my trailer floors & ATP ramp door flap. Item was just as described in the video upon ordering off the website.

Nice heavy duty hinge. We used them as a replacement for the rusted light duty hinge on our custom hunting camp trailer. Received them quickly and in time to installed before the 2022 deer season.
Shouldn’t use USPS to deliver your products. I waited four days after the expected delivery date and finally went to the post office. Woman said “yeah he wouldn’t have ever delivered it, it’s too long for his little postal Jeep.
Good Product I Received on a timely fashion. I spoke to customer service after a shipping issue and received plenty of help and support from an employee Amy. I use this product as a weld on hinge for custom Aluminum toolboxes I produce.
The hinge was perfect and was exactly what I needed. The customer service was second to none! They upgraded my regular ground shipping to 3 to 5 day at no additional charge. I wish the other companies I do business with had the customer service like etrailer.com does.
