K-Source Universal Towing Mirror - Clip On - Convex Mirror - Qty 1
After years of replacing mirrors from other sources I purchased a pair of these. There fantastic, plenty of adjustments. Got covid on vacation, really sick and did not properly install mirror. Not broken but scratched badly from asphalt at 55 mph. Purchased a replacement, scratched one is my spare.
I already had mirror extensions because I pull a travel trailer, but one got broken off so I needed a replacement. I chose this different model and am happy I did because it gives me a clear view of what might be coming up on my left side. I can easily see if I am able to change lanes. I do still like the other model though, and it works perfectly for the right side because I have three different aspects to help me know when to pull back in after passing. I highly recommend both models. Shipping was fast.

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Pair
They will not stay on the mirrors for a 2023 Grand Cherokee. After very careful installation they fell off because the shape of the mirror is rounded and you cannot get a good grip to hold the mirror on
The mirrors worked better than I expected and fit a Kia Sorento quite well. The design is pretty easy to mount and dismount once they're set up.Ive wind tested them to 72 mph when passing and they've held tight

They were easy to install (once you figure out where the strap release button is located) and worked like a charm! I drive a 2017 Suburban and towed a Keystone Bullet (about 8 1/2ā wide and 30ā long) 160 miles today without any issues. The mirrors are not what Iād call pleasing to the eye, but they certainly provided an additional 18ā of span, enabling me to look down the sides of the trailer and see cars behind me.
These are working out great! I'm now a wiz at putting them on too. They're great quality, sturdy and snug fitting. Very happy.

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Clamp On - Adjustable Length - Steel
Easy to install and remove. Minimal vibration with a great field of vision. Great buy.
Excellent product. Easy to put on. Took them off, put them in my camper storage. Next trip out, when I put them on, I did not even need to adjust them! The mirrors are slight contour and slight magnification, which makes them easy to see. There is virtually NO vibration during travel. (I have had others that shimmied so bad you could not see a thing.) I flip my driver side mirror in frequently to check my mail box, so it is not very stiff. So I ran a small bungee from the clamp to the grill under my hood. Did this for both sides. My driver side flipped in when traveling at interstate speeds, so I put a second bungee on it. Fixed the problem. Allen bolts at top of clamp are rusting after 2nd use. All in all though, I am very pleased with this product and it is well worth the money spent. It is the only product I could find to properly fit my 2011 Toyota Tacoma, because it clamps on the mirror frame and does not rest on my truck mirrors. Great Product!

CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror - Clip-On
I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.
Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything. Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK. This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.

My rating is less to do with the product and more with etrailer. I ordered an identical mirror (CIPA model 11950) on amazon for less than half the price, 1 day shipping, free delivery, and it did not fit my vehicle so I bought the one etrailer recommended for my vehicle. I thought it was CIPA model 7070 but that is just the etrailer model #. I got CIPA model 11950 which I already have. Now I need to return the ones to etrailer and I'm being charged $16 to do so. This could have been avoided if the CIPA model number was immediately visible in the description (it is there in small print at the bottom). Also, my vehicle's mirror (2018 explorer) is not the same as the 2018 explorer in the video and picture. So it's not accurate for etrailer to say it fits all 2018 Explorers.
Purchased a pair for our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee towing a nuCamp 400 from FL to AK and back. Three months and around 16k miles. Pros - other than an adjustment the second day, I never had to adjust the tension straps again. They were easy to mount and did not interfere with our mirrors folding inward. They weathered three months on the road without issue though I was beginning to worry about the straps becoming brittle. I noticed this once I removed them. Had I kept them, I would have used some silicon to rejuvenate the rubber. Cons - the only con is they shake. They shake to the point that sometimes I couldn't distinguish what exactly was behind me. I knew there was a vehicle, but the distortion from the vibration prohibited me from getting a clear view of exactly what was behind us. Impressions - they worked for our trip but I knew I would want something else for our next long trip, so we invested in a Furrion Reviewing Camera.

So-so construction and design. With one modification they're more than acceptable. The arms and straps will slip and loosen if installed on triangular or tapered housings. Mirrors that have backs nearly parallel to the mirror face, and have upper and lower mirror edges that are nearly parallel are not affected. Adding a peel and stick plastic wall hanger to a tapered housing will stop the strap from slipping and loosening. The ball and socket mount is good and tight, but the stud on the ball is loose in the arm. I think most of the jitter and vibration others report is from this sloppy clearance that the stud screw can't tighten enough. I'll be addressing that as well. A nice option for those of us that a) don't tow a majority of the time and don't want full time extended mirrors, and/or b) tow with multiple vehicles and prefer to have adjustability to fit our 'fleet'.
I ordered these for a 2023 Tundra after being advised to do so. The straps seem to be too short and to get them attached I'm really stretching then out and they're difficult to mount. I'm concerned they're going to pull off with so much tension and very little strap left threading through the tensioner.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side
We use them when we pull our camper. The mirrors allow us to see around The camper now. They are easy to put on and take off. We highly recommend them.
The mirrors fit my GMC Sierra like a glove. 1 year later they are still mounted securely, look great and perform as described in the description. Can't go wrong with this product from etrailer

A nice alternative for temporary mirrors for trailer hauling. They didn't interfere with the remote mirror adjustment on the factory installed outside mirrors and held securely once adjusted. I used them on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline.
We needed these extended mirrors on our van when pulling our camper. They fit perfect on our 2014 E250. Husband was very happy with the added rear vision they provide. The mirrors stayed put and adjusted even on the interstate. Great purchase!

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Strap On - Black
Not a good mirror. Second time using it fell off my car and smashed in road. Thank goodness it did not hit another car. The foam pads slid off and you can not get a good grip. I returned and they are sending me same one, because it was after 30 days.
Fit mostly well on vehicle. Have not used on road yet. Time will tell

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
Delivery was quick. The mirrors slipped on with ease and fit well over the existing mirrors and looked almost factory attached. Then came the task for securing the attachments to the vehicle. While the concept is easy someone forgot to check deminsions of the parts and were to short to work on my vehicle. I contacted etrailer by chat and asked if there were alternatives for securing the mirrors and unfortunately there weren't any. Then came my decision to use heavy duty electrical looped through the hole the sent hardware was to be inserted through. Unless you look closely they are not easily seen. When I want to remove the mirrors I simply snip the cable tie on each mirror and ues new ones the next time I need to use the mirrors. While my "fix" works they only 3 star because to the attachment hardware.
Bought the custom extensions mirrors for my Silverado to aid in backing up our new camper trailer. Easy to install and remove. Videos were a great help. They not only helped in parking the camper but added a great deal of visibility while driving which makes for a safer trip.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side
They are ok for what they are. Easy to install and remove. They do not show as much as I thought but enough since I dont have factory tow mirrors.
I ordered these mirrors for my car in Oct 2021 at which time the website indicated they would fit my car. I only need them for towing during the summer so did not even open the boxes until this week, April 2022. Imagine my surprise to find out that the mirrors do NOT fit my car. I immediately sent an e-mail requesting process to return and exchange for mirrors that would fit. Today I received a response stating sorry they don't fit but our returns policy is 60 days and I was outside of that time. I should try selling them locally! I could understand if the mirrors were no longer carried by etrailer but they are still in stock. And I'm not asking for a refund but an exchange. Very disappointed in this company!

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Passenger Side
I received 2 orders now from Etrailer, one I did online and one soeaking with their agent and both arrived fast and as ordered! Great job very satisfied with product as well! Thank you!
Rather on the high side on cost but they are easy it install and remove. Field of vision is not what it could be but better than the mirrors on the truck.

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirrors - Strap On - Qty 2
I bought these mirrors to use on our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I used them just a couple of times and have decided to look for something else. Despite my best efforts and watching (and re-watching) the online video that shows them being mounted on my exact vehicle, I found that the soft pads that grip the back of the mirror could not keep the mirror in place for more than 30 minutes or so. It was warm (mid-80s) when I used the mirrors and the heat seemed to let the pads slip too much. I tried several different positions and adjusted the tension straps carefully, but no luck. They seem pretty well made and may well work well on other vehicles, but they just don't work with my Jeep GC.
I like the mirrors. However, I find that the straps stretch when they get wet, and the rubber pads do not stick very well, tending to slide, causing the mirrors to move out of alignment while traveling.

K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Flat Mirror - Qty 2
Very good quality construction. Very good fit for a non-custom mount. Thick rubber straps are stretched over the carās side mirror and hold the mirror well. My car is a 2017 Ford Expedition EL. Note: when you fold in the car mirror the towing mirror partially blocks the progress so that mirror stops early. It is still folded but not as completely as without the tow mirror. And yes, they are two identical mirrors so on one side the straps go up, on the other side they go down.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! I had great hopes for these mirrors. They look great. They appear to be very adjustable right out package. They fit on my Tacoma securely. They don't interfere with the function of the stock mirrors. Everything was moving along "swimmingly". Then I sit inside my truck to do the final adjustment (moving the actual mirror to get the correct setting and lock it into the "sweet spot"). The new Mirror is very stiff...doesn't want to move. Well, its new...so....Okay, I don't want to ruin anything...so.... No worries, I go get a phillips screwdriver to loosen the back screw a smidge so the friction adjustment can work . Come back start to back the screw out just a smidge...nope...still can't adjust the...wait...unscrew some more....that's not an adjustment screw at all. That just screws directly into the back of the mirror to hold it solidly in place. Worse yet, There is no friction mechanism on the back of the mirror at all. It is one solid piece of plastic. The molded plastic replicates the look as if it has the ability to move, but in reality....There is no way to do small mirror corrections once you have this thing installed. What the Actual people?????!!!!!!???? If you can't do minor adjustments to the mirror while you are in the vehicle, then the mirror is completely useless. I wouldn't recommend this product to my worst enemy. It's a piece of crap. DO NOT BUY!!!! A complete waste of time, money, and shipping costs. Now, I have to incur more shipping costs to send this POS back to etrailer. Hey, etrailer....Do Better next time!!!!

CIPA Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Qty 2
Finally, we got extended mirrors for our 2016 Sequoia. OEM mirrors are manageable but inefficient when backing up or switching lanes with a Travel Trailer. The only issue with the extended mirrors is that they vibrate to the extent you get hypnotized. They work best at slow speeds, backing in campgrounds or switching lanes at slow speeds. Sixty-five miles, forget it. Use your best judgment. If the mirrors are well molded into place, the vibration may be minimized. The team at etrailer, from start to finish, was fabulous. Thanks
CIPA Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors performed as advertised. I followed others' suggestions and thoroughly cleaned & de-bugged (w/bug cleaner) my Cherokees' existing mirrors so the rubber retaining straps adhered to my Cherokees' mirrors. Also secured a zip tie around the Towing Mirror & the Cherokee mirrors to prevent slippage. There Was slight vibration of the Towing Mirror image, but nothing I couldn't live with. The extra extension beyond my Cherokee's mirrors made driving and lane changes much easier, safer, & less stressful. I'd buy these again.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side
I'm so impressed at the quality of these mirrors (I bought both driver and passenger sides) especially at such a reasonable cost. Very simple but effective solution for me. It took about 3 minutes to install these as they fit and slide right over my existing mirrors. They were designed precisely for my vehicle so don't interfere with my power adjustments or signal lights. I'm new at pulling a large Camping trailer and needed to find something to get my field of view around both sides. Factory mirrors and such were too expensive for my budget and I don't believe they would help anymore than these.
Fits nicely over my existing mirrors and is extremely easy to install. They look great and are blend in with the existing mirror so that they look natural.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
We used these on our GMC Sierra 1500 towing our bumper pull trailer. They are easy to install and remove. We towed from TX to Key West, FL and they make a huge difference to your visibility in the side lanes, and make it much easier to change lanes. We no longer use them since we upgraded to a larger 5th wheel and a 3/4 ton diesel that already has large towing mirrors, but would definitely recommend these if you just have regular mirrors on your truck.
These mirrors fit perfect. They allow the turn signals to be seen and the cameras are not blocked by them. I just bought a new trailer from Trailers Inc in Cairo, ny that is 8.5ā wide and these mirrors made my trip much easier and safer. These mirrors slip on quickly and are secure. They did not flutter or shake at all at highway speeds. I also am able to fold the mirrors against the doors and they do not interfere with the process. I am going to get a set for my other vehicle. Tow vehicle is a 2020 Sierra Denali 1500 with non factory tow mirrors.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side
I had the mirrors for about four months and one of the mirrors just fell off was not happy. Obviously it shattered on the ground. The adhesive is very cheap on them called customer service. They sent me out a new one, but was told this happens quite often with those. I think the adhesive Hass to be better.
Mirrors worked very well on our 2 week trip to the mountains and shorter trips closer to home. Had great service and fast shipping from e trailer as usual....
CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror, which is also sold as a set. A towing mirror is really going to expand our field of view. That can be especially useful whenever we're making a lane change, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us. So to give you an example, as you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror. But if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in the factory mirror.
CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Equinox
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.Today on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SEPA universal fit towing mirror, which is also sold as a set.Towing mirror really going to expand our field of view. That can be especially useful whenever making a lane change, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us.So to give you an example, how much more ground we're going to be able to cover, as you can see, I'm visible and they're telling me, but not our factory mirror. Now, if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror.that's also really going to help to eliminate any blind spots as well. One of the biggest questions we get in regards to universal fit towing mirrors is if you're going to have any vibration or noise, especially at higher speeds.Well, this one does clamped to the factory mirror and it really is solid. If I kind of move it around, you can see it's just moving with the factory mirror. So I really don't see that causing an issue for you.And since our towing mirror is going to extend the overall width of our Equinox, sometimes it may be a little tricky to pull into tight spots. As you need to free up some space, you still are able to completely fold the mirror in the Toe of your lens in this position. There's a little contact, but if you just rotate it, it'll give you that extra enter so that you might need. And even with the towing mirror in place, we're still able to maintain all of our adjustability with our factory mirror. That's really good to come in handy. That way you don't have to sacrifice any visibility.Towing mirror itself is also completely adjustable. You're going to be able to adjust it up and down side to side, pretty much any which way you want. You can even rotate it a full 360 degrees. So you shouldn't have any problems finding a position that works best for you.And since this tow mirror is universal, chances are pretty good.If you happen to have another vehicle in the household, it'll probably work with that too.And if you want to switch them around, it's really not too big of a headache because how easy this is to put on and take off.Speaking of which let's go ahead and pull it all together now.So the way we get our mirror on is these two knobs, which you're going to do is loosen them up.And that's going to create a bigger gap in between these two pieces here.So once you have that created, it will just simply slide that onto the factory mirror, kind of hold it in place and then just evenly turn the knobs to clamp it down.Once you have it nice and snowing. If you picked up a set, you simply just repeat this process over on the other side. And that'll finish up our look at and our installation of the SEPA universal fit towing mirror on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox.

CIPA Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Equinox

If I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to be great whenever we're driving our vehicle with our trailer attached and we're trying to pass vehicles or we're trying to park our trailer. Our mirror's fully adjustable from side to side and up and down and we can rotate it to widen our field of view. The plastic tabs are going to grip around the plastic housing of our factory mirror and it's still going to allow us adjust our factory mirror. With our towing mirror still installed, we can partially fold in our factory mirror to get into those tight spaces.
CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2015 Chevrolet Equinox

This is going to be great for when we're passing vehicles or trying to park. Now, with this Dual View Mirror, if I step out even further to the side we're still going to have even more of a view, and this is great for safety reasons whenever you're parking or trying to pass vehicles. Our towing mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. The tabs are going to sit between a plastic housing and our factory mirror. This is not going to affect the use of our factory mirror.

That's how much more we're going to be able to see with the towing mirror installed. These towing mirrors are universal fit, so if you have another SUV or a truck in the household, chances are pretty good you can use it with those too.Keep in mind on our Equinox it does limit our adjustability of the factory mirror, however you can make up for some of that adjustability because the towing mirror itself has quite the range of motion. You're not going to have to worry about our towing mirror damaging your vehicle's finish, because the straps are rubber coated. If you need to fold your mirror in for whatever reason, you can still do that.To begin our install we're going to take our towing mirror, we're going to make sure that these plastic clips are pushed all the way down like this. These are actually going to rest in our mirror housing, that way when we tighten it, these will hold our towing mirror to our factory mirror.I'm going to go ahead and push our plastic clips in between the mirror glass itself and the housing.
CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Equinox
Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Equinox we'll be installing the Cipa duel view clip-on towing mirror, part number 11953. You can see me just fine in the factory mirror. Not a problem but if we wanted to change lanes and there's something next to our trailer, we won't be able to see it in the factory mirror. That's where the tow mirrors come into play. I'll step out to the side. You can't see me in the factory mirror anymore but now you can see me in the tow mirror. Our mirror's fully adjustable.
CIPA Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Equinox
Today in our 2012 Chevrolet Equinox we'll be doing an installation of a CIPA Clip-on Towing Mirror, part number 7070. If you wanna execute a maneuver when you're towing a trailer, you have to watch out for the extra distance of your trailer. If you wanna change lanes, if I step over here you can't see me in the factory mirror anymore, but now you can see me in the towing mirror. We also have our individual adjustment to the side, up, down. We can rotate it however we need to get the field of vision that we want, and a field of vision that we need. Now, a nice thing about this mirror is we can still adjust our factory power mirror without a problem, because it doesn't mount over the glass, it just mounts around the glass and to the side of it. The glass here is on unaffected.
CIPA Clamp on Universal Fit Towing Mirror Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Equinox
Today, in our 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, we'll be installing the CIPA universal fit towing mirror, part number CM 11980. Now, if you wanted to change a lane while you're hooked up to your trailer, such as our jet ski trailer here today, it would be difficult to see if there's anything beside the trailer when you wanted to execute your lane change. I'll step over here, to show that. You can't see me in the factory mirror anymore, but now you can see me in the tow mirror. This will prevent you from sideswiping something with your trailer when you're changing lanes. Now, our mirror is fully adjustable. We can go up, down, side to side, whichever direction we need to go in order to get the vision that we need and the vision that we want to see our trailer.
K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2012 Chevrolet Equinox
Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, we'll be installing the K Source Universal Clip on Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. Now you can see me just fine in the factory mirror on the vehicle. This is great for normal driving applications. But, with our jet ski trailer behind us here, we may have issues if we wanted to change lanes and there's something to the side of the trailer. Now, if I step over here you can no longer see me in the factory mirror, but you can still me to the side of the jet ski trailer in the new tow mirror that we installed. This is the reason why you want to have tow mirrors when you're towing a trailer. Now, our mirror's fully adjustable. We can do side to side.
