Ellen : Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap. This is going to finish out the look of your trailer by kind of covering up that axle end, and providing a nice, shiny, bright hub for you. It's going to have an access point here at the little inner cap, so you can pop this out and then do maintenance to your axle so you can keep everything greased up and working properly. To do that you'll want to get kind of a flat knife to get in there and pop that out. It's just held on by some clips at the back, so just a little plastic cap to hold that in place, but you want to make sure that you don't damage the rest of the surface because it'll mar up your center cap.So it does make it easier, though, to do all that maintenance on your axle so you don't have to remove the whole wheel and tire assembly, you can just pop out that cap and then put your grease gun on the end of your easy lube axle, if that's what you have, or loop everything up otherwise.This will sit behind your wheel and tire, so you want to put this on before you get those installed, since that's how it's held in place, by this little lip, by that wheel entire assembly being on. It's going to fit a pilot diameter for a wheel that measures 5.12 inches, or five and an eighth inch.
So if we flip this over. So at five and an eight inch from the inside of the edge there. Does have a nice chrome finish, and that should do it for our look at the Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap.
