This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the rear bumper, on the driver's side.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

curt hitch i pefer to use because never have any problems always easy to install and get help when i need it however i ordered the wrong trailer harness for the jeep 2005 grand cherokee it does not have factory installed tow package can i exchange it please let me know what i have to do thank you henry m
did not fit I had to splice in 14" of wire so it could reach the two tail lights
and this was the second one I purchased the first one did not have the correct connectors

This part is meant for Jeeps that have the factory tow package. I am wondering if that is the issue here. If your jeep doesnt have that then you would need part # 118425.
I recently recieved my tow hitch for a 2000 Dodge Dakota. The part arrived promptly and in excelent condition. I was very pleased with the quality of this hitch by Curt. It was very stout and had great welds. I haven't had a chance to mount the unit yet but the measurements look to be right on. etrailer.com has a new customer.

The product was everything that was advertised it arrived in perfect condition I guess I just misunderstood what I needed and inevitably ordered the wrong part my 05 Jeep Liberty did not come with a 7-way so I need a different harness to be able to hook up my trailer should have called customer service first

If your Liberty didnt have the factory 7-way, I would recommend the # 118524 Tekonsha powered taillight converter.
The kit was extremely easy to install and fits like a fine glove. So easy in fact that the factory could not have done better looking job. Works great although I rarely use my trailer but I know when I do, I can rest assured that the wiring will not be a problem as it used to be.

have since started driving a different vehicle. My jeep bit the dust. I liked the harness and it always worked fine but I didnt get to use it too long. I do remember how easy and well thought out the installation process was. I do keep a link to your website and have turned on others to it. Sometimes it was already too late but now they know its there. Ill definitely keep you guys in mind in the future
This product was what was recommended by your site as the proper wiring harness and it IS NOT compatible with my vehicle. Our family’s vacation has already been pushed back by 2 days dealing with this situation and we are still working on finding a local solution!

This wiring harness is only compatible if your Freightliner Sprinter has the factory equipped 7-way trailer connector, as we state in our product fit guide. If your Sprinter does NOT have the factory 7-way, youd need part # 118650 instead.

Fit just like advertised. They have excellent customer service. Videos and pictures were a great help.
etrailer received, filled, packaged and shipped my small order (wiring harness) within an hour, then turned it over to the US Post Office.... Within 2 days, it crossed the state line from Missouri into Illinois. A few days later, it was received in Chicago and should have arrived in Canada in short order.... Instead, tracking my order a week later revealed that it was resting comfortably in Miami Florida. A call to etrailer and Carol soon straightened things out. It eventually found its way to me and I am quite pleased with the service from etrailer. The Post Office? Well, you know..... Bobber.
The T-wire harness was great, installed well and works fine.
The Seat covers are great as well, durable and easy to install, will consider rear seat covers if available?
The stabilizer bracket would not work with my platform rig, but looked of good quality and I will find a use for it.
Bought this for a 2006 Dodge Sprinter didn't realize it would not work on a Sprinter with out towing package. Had to buy different kit and splice the wires in (not fun) make sure you have the right kit if you are working on a Sprinter. On a vehicle with the right harness it works great just plug in and go.
Thanks to etrailer's excellent customer service, I was FINALLY able to order the correct wiring harness for my '01 Dodge Durango. There are many variables due to several Durango models, and this was the correct one. Has worked flawlessly since installation.
I was in a hurry and I bought the wrong wiring harness. I have ordered the right wiring harness and it is on the way. My truck does not have the factory trailer connections for the wiring harness that I ordered.
Wrong product .. reordered correct one .. said this was 4 pin connection, but requires vehicle to be equipped with 7 pin connection from factory. Guess you have to read the fine print

For a 2004 Dodge Dakota with a factory seven way this harness adds a 4 flat. For a 2004 Dodge Dakota that did not come with a factory harness part # 118323 would be a fit.
I watched a video of theirs on Youtube which linked to the correct part and I bought what the video linked to, assuming it was the one shown in the video (without the factory 7-way). They sold me the one that uses the factory 7-way (which I don't have) and when I called asking to exchange it for the right one, they said it wasn't possible. They said they'd take it on refund, but are charging me for return shipping, and considering it's such a lightweight and cheap part to ship (and their website's mistake), I'm losing a significant portion of the money I spent on it.
