This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you solid towing and cargo options with a 2" x 2" receiver opening rated for a 5,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 500-lb maximum tongue weight. When used with weight distribution, it handles up to 6,000 lbs GTW and 600 lbs TW. That’s enough capacity for small campers, utility trailers, or bike racks without pushing limits. The round-tube design keeps it looking clean while giving you the strength of a fully welded steel frame.
You don’t need a lift or a welder to get this hitch mounted. The precision, robotic welding ensures the bolt holes line up exactly with factory mounting points so you can install it with basic tools. It comes with a complete hardware kit and instructions for a driveway-friendly setup. The design uses existing frame holes and hardware locations to make the process straightforward even for a first-time DIYer.
Road grime and weather won’t take this hitch down. The gloss black powder coat sits over a protective base coat that resists rust and corrosion. One year later the hitch it just like new! It is built to last and I love it and use it often! I have never had a problem with it at all. It still looks great and works great!

The fix for your issue will depend on the wiring harness you are using. You wont be able to wire a 4 pin connector directly into the vehicle. A taillight converter is needed like part # C55369. It might also be possible that there is a blown fuse.

Im very happy with the hitch. It was a little difficult to install by myself but it got done and works great. Thanks for following up. If I ever need any trailer parts or know of someone who does Ill be sure and recommend etrailer.
