Question:
My Jeep has a factory trailer harness see photos. Im planning on using existing 7 pin receptacle. I get running lights and power at the 7 pin. I do not get turn/brake at the 7 pin. I think I need some sort of converter to plug into factory harness. Guy at Jeep does not know what I im asking to do. The suggested harness that you have provides only 4 pin flat connector with converter. I do not want to cut into the 7 pin harness to connect your harness. Any Ideas or parts?

The existing turn signal/brake lamp circuits are already converted, so you shouldn't need an additional converter.
I'd recommend checking the fuse box under the dash and in the engine compartment, and locating the right and left trailer turn signal/brake lamp fuses, to make sure they're installed and not blown. Replace as needed.
I'd also closely examine the pins on the 7-way for corrosion. If you see any green or white corrosion on the pins, the corrosion could have spread inside the connector to the terminals, preventing the signal from reaching the trailer.
If you find you need to replace the existing 7-way, part # HM40975-11933 would make a great replacment, and would also provide a 4 pole trailer connector a swell as a 7-way.
