The cut doesn't fit my ball mount which comes with factory towing package for 2009 Lexus GX 470.

My sway control is actually on the drivers side of the truck, hence I have to turn the mechanism upside down and the U-shaped lock doesn't work. They should make a separate item for driver side sway control connections.
The product ordered came before the delivery date. E-trailer kept me informed of the progress of the item while in transit. Very good customer service. I would not hesitate to order from E-trailer again.
This fits the bill if you can't get the right dimension of drop and still get the sway control ball without starting all over.

The product work great and eliminated sway in the camper when attached with a sway ball and friction sway control.
Products were shipped promptly and arrived as scheduled. The communication from etrailer was great throughout the process. I haven't actually towed with these items yet-though they are installed.
Based on this experience, I will definitely buy from etrailer again.
Simple installation prevented the welding of a tab to the hitch in order to mount a sway control ball. The bracket adds 1/2 inch to the ball height, so check that your final tow height is correct - mine was fine. Also the thickness of the plate reduces the available thread area on the ball so, check for full thread engagement of the trailer ball nut. I would certainly use one again.
Great quality materials. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Two things you need to take into account when installing this product. It is about 1/2" thick so you will need a hitch ball that has a long shank to fit through the ball mount and the sway-control bracket and still have enough threads left to install the nut properly. Your ball height will also be 1/2" higher than the drop or rise on your ball mount i.e. a 2" drop will only be a 1-1/2" drop and a 2" rise will be a 2-1/2" rise. If ordering this with a ball mount, take that thickness into consideration.

I bought this damper mount because it was all set and I didn't have to do anything except bolt it on to my hitch bar. It was very simple just follow the direction provided. Remove the ball then position the damper mount and reinstall the ball. The quality of the part was excellent and everything worked as expected.
These work great as long as you have the correct spacing between the sway-control bar's ball mounts. If they are not spaced far enough apart, the bar will jam on a tight turn and the bracket and/or sway bar will bend. I did this in my first iteration. I ordered again, corrected my spacing, and it's worked like a champ ever since.
Works exactly as expected. No rust, no unwanted movement. Mounted it and haven't had to think about it ever since.
This is the third one of these I have purchased since July of last year. I am having a problem with the bracket bending when making normal turns. After researching the product I decided that the sway control bar may have been too tight so I am going to give it one more try. If this does not cure the issue I will not recommend this product. Service from etrailer has been good.

Still works great! And it’s awesome because after about six months we changed the height so we just took the damper mount off the old draw bar and put it on the new draw bar, perfect.
