For the dual friction you are looking for, I recommend adding the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit - Economy - by Draw-Tite, Reese and Hidden Hitch # 83660 to your hitch ball. This adjustable friction sway bar can be added using the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts - Class III and IV # RP26003 or the 1-1/4 inch ball mount bracket # RP26005. It is recommended to pull the cotter pin to disengage this bar when backing up.

You can also expand this system by adding another bar to your trailer, but you will need to weld a tab like # 3442 to your ball mount.

For what you are looking to do with the 2 friction bars, I recommend the Replacement Weight Distribution Bolt-Together Round Bar Head # PS58442 you referenced. The bars and mounts will give you that friction sway control you are seeking. You can use your old shank for weight distribution with either head assembly.

Are you looking for just a standalone friction bar or a full weight distribution system with integrated sway control? If it's just a sway bar, we only have a couple options from the manufacturers you mentioned (the Curt # 17200 and the Reese # 83660). Between those two options I like the Curt # 17200 because it includes an adapter block if needed and is a bit more economically priced.
