The springs overlapped one of the mounting holes without the spacer. With the spacer there was direct contact with the axle. I will have to cut them so I can have suspension travel.
I like it needs to be longer
Fixed the sag. No more bottoming out from bumps in the road. Cheaper and less complicated than air. A+ product!

Definitely less moving parts to worry about than airbags :) The install looks great! Are you hitched up in the photo to test out the springs or were you actually on your way to the water?
I should have ordered heavier option all and all well satisfied install was ez and handling improved on my 2025 Tundra

E-Trailer has been phenomenal. Communication, shipping, and price was great. Easy install. Haven’t put a heavy load on them yet, but am sure they will work as advertised. Have not noticed any difference thus far in ride quality in my ‘24 1794 Tundra.
I just received my sumosprings for my 2025 tundra so I can’t tell how they will perform but I bought them because I have had them on my previous model tundra for about five years and they really make towing my utility trailer much better, I didn’t feel any stiffer ride on an empty truck but when loaded or hooked up to a trailer the sumo springs didn’t allow to squad as much and hard bottoming down just never happened.
The etrailer site helped me dial-in the exact Sumo Springs for our 24 Tundra, and deliver them exactly at the stated day, enabling us to keep our installation appointment with a local mechanic. We’re looking forward to our next trip pulling an Alliance Delta 252 RL. We’ve been using a BluOx load leveling hitch with 1,000 lb bars, that relieve most of the sag already, but looking to be more level with reduced vibration. I’ll update this post after getting some miles in.

Incredibly fast turn around, from order to delivery, super impressed! Overall, a pretty easy install on my 2023 Tundra, even without removing the rear tires. That said, it would have been much easier to access the area to install with the tires off, there’s no doubt about that, but it wasn’t impossible. Jacked up the rear end with a 3ton floor jack (just under 20in of travel on it), set my jack stands, and that gave me plenty of room to work with. A word of advice: MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE BOLT INTO THE SMALLER SIDE OR THE BRACKET MOUNT FIRST. If you save that one for last, the factory bolt and washer will catch on the top lip of the Sumo Spring, and you will not be able to get the angle needed to get the bolt in, resulting in you needing to remove the entire thing to fix your mistake. Ask me how I know this. After the install, I drove around to hit some bumps and dips, see how it felt unloaded, and honestly, I think it rode smoother than with the factory bump stops. Loading up and towing our 26ft bunk house 600mi over the next week, that’ll be the true test. So far so good though!

I am only reviewing installation so far, as I haven't put them to the test towing my boat yet. However, what could be a very easy installation...maybe 15-20 mins per side, becomes much more difficult because the bracket does not allow for the use of a ratchet for one of the screws. The bump stop is just wide enough so it blocks the hex head. Only way to handle that one screw is with a traditional or adjustable wrench, and this makes the install much more difficult and time consuming. Just another 1/4 inch adjustment and you could tighten that screw with the ratchet.
First, the downfalls:
--Less than seven days after I ordered them, etrailer starts offering an instant rebate on them....$[XX]. I spoke to trainer before purchasing, would have been nice to know.
---Driver side bracket had some issues. Had to drill out paint on one of the holes to let the factory screw go through without stripping threads. (Quality control). Also, the driver side bracket did NOT fit easily. Took me 50 minutes of trail and error to get it to fit right. Another Quality Control issue. The passenger side took 10 minutes. Looking back, should have stopped, returned them, and reordered. Perhaps I then would have qualified for the instant rebate!
These Sumo's will be put to the test this weekend as I am hooking up the trailer and taking a small trip. If they do not, I am still awaiting a response from trainer of the30-Day satisfaction guarantee they advertise on the site. I was told they have to contact the manufacturer... While they are at it, can they clarify if the blue SumoSprings are rated at 1400 (etrailer site) or 1000 (SuperSprings International site)?
Fairly easy to install. Says it takes about 30 minutes to install. It actually took about an hour. Fortunately, I took it to a buddy of mine shop and we used his lift. Tip remove both rear tires for easier access. Do yourself a favor and don’t attach the spacer and the shock to the bracket before install. The small side of the bracket start threat it into the frame. Give yourself enough room to turn the bracket out then install the spacer and the shock. Then continue with the other two bolts. The first bolt you put in you’ll have to hand tighten with a wrench. But if you give yourself a little pivot room, you’ll be able to install the spacer and the shock to the bracket. I bought a blue shocks, which are the shortest ones. They did help level out the truck and stopped some of forward to rear sway. Personally, I wish I would’ve bought the black shocks, which are a little bit longer. They probably would’ve performed a little bit better. But overall happy with the performance.

I was very sorry to hear this Joshua, so I reached out to SuperSprings to see why this is. I sent your pictures and your review to them and this was their response: "The spacer is required to avoid the overlap -- the spacer is needed. That photo of the install looks perfect and they have the perfect amount of air gap. That SumoSpring can compress up tp 70% body height, so there should be no concern about limited suspension travel." Did you install the spacer?
