Will SumoSprings Fit 2023 Toyota Tundra TRD With Lift Kit

Updated 12/30/2025 | Published 12/13/2025

Question:

Hi I have a 2023 Toyota Tundra TRD with a TRD lift kit, Dobbinsons 220-440lb rear springs. I tow a 6500 lb trailer with a weight distribution hitch. I still have a little sag with the springs I currently have but was wondering if the sumo springs would work on my truck with the TRD lift and dobbinson rear springs or if they sell a longer rubber piece for the ones with the lift? Thank you.

Hey Joshua! All of the SumoSprings like # SS46PV are designed to fit the Tundra at stock height. SuperSprings does not offer additional spacers to make up for the height difference so these won't work on your Tundra TRD with the lift.

What you can use instead is the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T45MR. You will also need the Spacer Kit for Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T33AV. If you don't like the Timbren the only other option would be to add an air bag system like # F56XV and then spacers like # F2366 or # F2367 to match your lift.

Hey Joshua, how did things work out with the Timbren setup and spacer kit on your lifted Tundra? Your results could really help others towing with a similar suspension and lift combo. Did it help reduce the sag when pulling your trailer?

@RobinH I decided against it after watching online and the forums and people complained about the harsh ride of the timbrens.

@JoshuaB if you're concerned about unloaded ride quality the air bag kit is the answer. You can run those at the minimum 5 psi and it won't impact your ride quality at all.
