Hello everybody. This is Jeff at www.etrailer.com. Today I'm going to take a look at this 48 inch long, 3/8 inch, thermal plastic, high pressure hose, with the 3/8 inch female flare swivel ends. Now this is a 3/8 inch inside diameter, general purpose hose assembly, mainly used for LP and natural gas connections. Length I mentioned on this is 48 inches long. I wanted to zoom in and show you on the ends, it does have the 3/8 inch female flare swivel, so you can see how they swivel here, on each end.
And the wrench size that's used to tighten these down is 3/4 inch. Now the hose itself is a thermal plastic construction, which is a plastic polymer, that will become soft when it's heated, and hard when it's cool. And these hoses are typically used to connect portable propane gas equipment to a propane supply, or you can use it for a slide out on an RV to hook to the main piping system. This is approved for all RV use in the USA and Canada. This part is made in the USA.
Now the maximum pressure rating on this hose is 350 PSI. Temperature range is -40 degrees Fahrenheit, up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. But that should do it for the review on this 48 inch long, 3/8 inch, thermal plastic, high pressure hose, with the 3/8 inch female flare swivel ends..
