SumoSprings for 2025 Toyota Tundra 1794

Updated 10/23/2025 | Published 10/21/2025

Question:

I have squatting on my 2025 Toyota Tundra 1794, I’m right at my 1300lbs payload when pulling my 25ft Airstream even though I use a WD hitch. Are the Blue Sumos enough or should I purchase the yellow Sumos? I don’t want a bumpy ride when I’m not towing. Also I’m send along a picture of my suspension, I will replace the bump stop on the right with a Sumo, can you tell me what the bump stop in the coil spring does and will it affect my Sumos? Thanks, I love this website!

Hello again Monty; I would get the black SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # SS66PV. These have a capacity of 1,800 lbs so it gives you a bit over the blue without overdoing it. SumoSprings are a great choice if you don't want to go with the air bags since they have a minimal impact on ride quality.

That is another bump stop in your picture to help prevent bottoming out. The SumoSprings will engage long before that would so it won't impact their functionality.

Robin are the 1400 lb (yellow) Sumo spring and the 1800lb (black) Sumo spring the same length (height)?
