Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 3,000 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 1,995 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 1,550 lumens.

Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a look at the replacement LED bulbs for your fog lights. This also comes with the anti-flicker harness for those vehicles that are equipped with CAN bus or PWM. These are going to be a replacement for that fog light to give us a really nice bright light for our vehicle. The nice thing about this is that there's no cutting or splicing. It's going to be that direct connection, so it's just a plug and play application.
It should be pretty easy to get installed. Let's take a closer look at what comes in the kit and some of the features of the bulbs. We'll get two bulbs, one for either side, and then also our two harnesses as well. There's going to be a couple of pieces of double-sided foam tape to help us mount the harnesses in place, and then also a couple of small zip ties as well. You get instructions and a sticker with the bulbs. As far as the features of the light, they are optically precise, or they have a precise design to help throw the light further than your typical lights.
That's going to give you better visibility. It also is going to have a nice, cool white color to it, so it's going to help to promote visibility in that sense as well. I'm going to hook this up to power and ground so you can see how bright these lights are. Now, as I mentioned, this is just going to be a plug and play application for you, but since I don't have a vehicle for this to hook up to in my studio, I'm using my little alligator clamps. You can see really nice, bright light.
Turn off the studio lights, and just with this little guy all on its own, it's going to provide us that really nice, bright light. You can see it's a nice, cool white color, so it helps to make it easier to see things as we're out on the road. That light spectrum is usually a better one for our eyes to detect things even in lower light. It should be a great upgrade from what you have in your vehicle normally. You can take a look at some of the specs here. I'm going to turn my lights back on.
Turn these guys off. They are IP67 rated, which means that they are impervious to dust and also should be completely weatherproof so no worries about any water getting in there and causing any issues. The light output per bulb is going to be 3000 lumens. That's going to be for the raw output. The effective lumen output is 1,995, which is just under 2000 lumens. That's really the number to pay more attention to. That's more the real world application of what to expect from the light. After about 30 minutes, that does drop down to the stable lumen output of 1,550 lumens.Color temperature, again, is 6,500 Kelvins. That's that nice, cool white color. The wattage per bulb is 16.5 watts. Power draw at 13 volts is 1.3 amps per bulb. Our operating voltage is 7.5 volts up to 16 volts DC, and it does have a two-year limited warranty. That's about all there is to it for our look at the lights that are the replacement bulbs plus harness. I hope this video has been helpful. Again, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..

Perfect fit, improved visibility
I use these every day. They do a great job lighting up the shoulders of the rural roads I often drive on. Very impressive light output and I have never been "flashed" from on-coming traffic.
Excellent product. Very bright to match the LED H13 bulbs from another manufacturer that we’re just installed on my 2020 Ford F-250 Lariat(both sets of bulbs show to be 6500k regarding color). The product didn’t show compatible on the website but was later confirmed to be a match(an H10 bulb is pretty much standard from one year to the next). Have ordered from E-trailer on multiple occasions and have yet to had a bad experience.
